Granting citizenship to illegal immigrants who were brought to the country as minors is the “compassionate” thing to do, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) said on Wednesday.

“[T]he history of our country is one that moved away from holding kids liable for the deeds, misdeeds, commitment of crime by parents,” Cantor said, during a GOP press conference on Capitol Hill. “And these, in many instances, are kids without a country if we don’t allow them to become full citizens of our country.”

“It is not only an issue of fairness, as the Speaker said, it’s an issue of decency, of compassion,” he said. “Where else would these kids go?” …

So if the parents took the kid with them when stealing a car the kid gets to keep it?

Why would we trust our government?!

“What the Obama Administration has ICE agents now doing is we now go into jails and prisons looking for illegal aliens inside of those facilities who have committed and been convicted of crimes. So we apply the Dream Act not to kids, in schools, but to adult inmates and have to ask them basically ‘Do you qualify for President Obama’s Dream Act?’ When they tell us ‘Yes we qualify’ we can’t even require them to give us any kind of proof, a transcript, or anything like that.

So then when they are citizens they bring in the family and then their relatives get citizenship. Just get around the stubborn conservatives who don't want this with another back door run around. These guys make me sick. They must think we are just plain stupid. Hey genius we are not Trayvon Martin supporters, we don't believe every thing we are told with blind faith.

Cantor is another scumbag. How did these traitorous bastards ALL end up in GOP leadership positions? Ryan, Boehner, Cantor...

I wonder if the GOP rank and file has the stones to unload these worthless turds and replace them for the next congress?

Mr. Cantor: it isn’t the right thing for Americans—the people whose interests you pricks are supposed to represent. When did it become somehow wrong for Americans to set American immigration policy for the sole benefit of Americans? The GOP has a death wish, and I think those of us still in its base ought to consider granting it come 2014.

With their parents, BACK to whatever toilet they illegally came from. That's where.

Let me answer that....No. Boehnor was turd prior to the last vote for the Speaker position....but the GOP supported him anyway.

They have no integrity. Sorry, but the GOP is a corrupt, spineless, joke.

If the GOP grants "amnesty" to the hordes of millions of new Democrat voters, it is the former "America" that will finally get the coffin lid nailed shut.

The ridiculous thing about these Rino’s pushing amnesty, and alienating their base is, Obama will demagogue some small portion of the bill and veto it making it look like the Republicans are anti-immigrant. Low information voters haven’t seen most of this bill and are going to be angry when they do. I don’t know where Republicans think they are going to draw votes from, except their arrogance in believing the base will always be there. If this continues, I predict Obama will take back the house and keep the senate. Maybe even a filibuster proof senate. As for me, time to leave the party.

Cantor knows that Dems will only accept full citizenship and the vote for them, as did Rubio.

If Cantor doesn’t feel an obligation to serve the taxpayers ofnhiandistrict, at least he should consider the interests of the citizens who live there. There is no way that amnesty for illegal aliens advances the interests of any Americans except those who want to hire them at low wages.

I hope he is primaries and loses his seat. He has no place in a legislative body where he is supposed to look out for his constituents.

Looks like Cantor is trying to act like a lady. Like Linda Grahamnesty.

Actually it would be more like; my father was a drug lord making millions of dollars every year. He bought me and my sister mansions, high-end cars, boats, education, all kinds of goodies. He was caught but since me and my sister were NOT involved in the drug trade we get to keep EVERYTHING. I mean we were innocent, letting us keep our lifestyle is the only decent thing to do......

Fairness for who Cantor? Not fair for the working class American.

It's way past time for a Third Party. May well be too late.

Paul, Rubio, Flake and others betrayed us and must be fought against now.

Hey Cantor and Boehner, the purpose of US immigration law is to benefit Americans and the United States of America.

When, if ever, are you going to do what's right for America? All of you in DC, seem to put the concerns of the illegal invaders first. What's with that?

And this focus on citizenship is completely stupid and beside the point. All of the DC folks are talking among themselves about citizenship for the illegals on top of the mountain. Do you ever bother coming down into the valley to talk to the illegals? Do they have any interest in becoming American and I'm not talking about citizenship? Do they have any desire to become American, speak English, adapt to our culture and become contributing members? I have seen zero evidence of that. Where's your evidence?

The GOP "leadership" must go. Living stupid is not an option.
