The part about the illegitimacy of the Bush/Cheney regime sounds a little loopy but all the rest of it I agree with.
The article, while on the right track, sounds a little suspect. Not written as responsibly as I would expect from an editor of the WSJ etc.

Notice the phrase "regime in Washington". To me, that refers to the current regime, King Zero.
I voted for W both times, but I think he could have done a much better job. He's a good man, just not really Presidential material.
But, no, I (obviously, as I'm not a liberal) do not think Bush was worse than the Iraqi regime or the Taliban.
