Lets step back and take a long, hard look at what Eric Holders Justice Department is doing right now.
George Zimmerman was acquitted in the shooting of Trayvon Martin. He has no further business in court with the state of Florida and is a free man.
Rather than accept the jurys verdict, Holders DOJ convened a conference call with several left-wing groups to plot a course to continue harassing Zimmerman. With FBI agents on the call, Holder sought information from those groups to help build a case.
Do those groups know Zimmerman or have any personal knowledge of the case that was not presented in the trial? Its extremely unlikely that they do.
Holders DOJ is also releasing an email address to which people are being exhorted to send tips about George Zimmerman, again, to build a case against him.
Did George Zimmerman rob a bank? Did he shoot an airplane out of the sky? Did he bring a building down?
No. He was acquitted by a jury in a fair court trial.
But the United States Department of Justice is focusing on this one man, who has been put through due process and acquitted in a court of law.
Today, we learn that the United States Department of Justice is ordering the state of Florida to break its own law.
The state case against Zimmerman is over. He won. He is entitled under Florida law to assume custody of any of his property that the state seized in the process of prosecuting him.
Holder says no, he cant have it.....

Holder is an enemy of our Nation.
We should all chip in and buy Zimmerman a gun if they do this.
Let’s see if Gov. Scott, who started this mess, will step up for the rule of law.
That is the most valuable Kel Tec PF-9 in history.
And since Scott is their apparent bitch boy do you think GZ will ever get it back?
I have to take time to mention that because, in my opinion, not only in Mississippi and Alabama, but right here in New York City, you and I can best learn how to get real freedom by studying how Kenyatta brought it to his people in Kenya, and how Odinga helped him, and the excellent job that was done by the Mau Mau freedom fighters. In fact, that’s what we need in Mississippi. In Mississippi we need a Mau Mau. In Alabama we need a Mau Mau. In Georgia we need a Mau Mau. Right here in Harlem, in New York City, we need a Mau Mau.

Eric Holder: What happens when a sloth slowly tender loves a turtle.
George will soon have enough money to SUE their ASS and WIN!
The Republicans remain silent and cowering on the outrageous persecution of GZ by this racist pig Holder.
I am willing to donate to hire George’s lawyer, in order to sue for him to get A. A speedy charge if one is forthcoming, and B. To get his shootin’ iron back.
I care much less about the specific gun, I am concerned about his concealed carry permit. Has this been restored?
George may need it in the future. He can probably get another gun—many would contribute toward the cost.
If the governor of Florida wants to save the taxpayers of the state some money defending a against a law suit he will lose, he should override the racists sitting in as president and attorney general.
Meanwhile Zimmerman can just do a face to face buy from a private owner in the state.
He is not a convicted felon so it’s perfectly legal and no paperwork is required.
I have definitely had enough of these corrupt racist bastards.
Question to all:
This assertion of federal over state authority seems to me to have the potential of becoming a major constitutional crises.
Am I over-reacting?
Yah, great, two Nazis in office.
This about where we are, Ma’am.
Laws are being used to harass law abiding citizens and those same laws are being ignored when it comes to organized racists openly soliciting murder.
The Black Panthers are racist terrorists, and they are being allowed to operate with impunity by our racist government.
Holder has sequestered the evidence from the trial. That gives him an opportunity to tweak it and add in some more useful evidence that he has his Creativity Department working on even now.
I think this was one step too far, for this bunch.
It has taken a second Obama term, several months of trial, and an acquittal.
All of which was ... agreed to by Americans.
This was a step too far. I think Obama lost his welcome.
Not that I’m sad, but I think so. It is all downhill from here.
Just my .02.
The DOJ has no authority to order the gun “held.” If they want it they need to go to Federal District Court to get a warrant, based upon sworn evidence of probable cause, to seize it. I believe the Florida authorities are under no obligation to honor a Justice Department request. If Zimmerman demands the return of his gun, and the Florida authorities refuse to comply, they have violated his 14th Amendment rights.
Does the DOJ have the authority to do this? Isn’t this a State jurisdictional issue?
This looks like a job for—O’Maraman! Go get ‘em stud.
