Journalist Michael Hastings’ body was reportedly cremated by Los Angeles authorities against his family’s wishes, destroying possible evidence of his mysterious death in a car accident on June 18.
Hastings was killed when his Mercedes crashed into a tree at a high speed and exploded.
Only hours earlier, Hastings sent an email to friends at Buzzfeed.com stating that he was “onto a big story” and had “to go off the radar for a bit.” He also warned his colleagues that they might be questioned about him by authorities.

Someone says they “want to off the radar for a while,” then there is a “mysterious” accident, in which information about the scene is suppressed, including cremation which, if done thoroughly enough will obliterate even DNA that could be used for confirmation.
Is it possible he had people help him fake his own death, and is now still alive somewhere, but very much “off the radar’?
I’m just saying there had better not be another funny business regarding journalists like Hastings or Breitbart.

They ARE the authorities, so they can do what they damn well please.
I wonder what excuse they will use. Maybe they will say he was carrying an exotic disease, and the only way to prevent it from spreading was to burn the body.
I didn't know that, but one news report described his car as "incinerated, including his body".
No one in the country seems to care because no one knows about the strange circumstances, in my opinion.

and what would that do? This government is out of control. It can’t be managed, modified or reigned in. There is only one course of action that can solve the problem.
When one thing is taken away something else must replace it though or bad things will fill the vacuum. What then would replace this government? A return to the basics of the Constitution and Bill of Rights unpolluted and unfettered by masses of complicated regulations and tacked on laws.
I agree with you completely. But one person not speaking out about a personal injustice “because it wouldn’t do any good” isn’t going to hurt. If you have a real solution or plan of action to get rid of this out of control gov’t I would be more than happy to do all I can to help.
For whatever reason it must have been REALLY important to the powers that be. The FBI arriving at the crash scene is very unusual. What next... the car going to be crushed and recycled.
