Protesters leave signs outside Ravenstahl’s home, hold ‘sleep-in’ at office (Trayvon...)
Pittsburgh Tribune Review ^ | July 18 | Mike Wereschagin

Protesters concerned about race relations in Pittsburgh camped outside Mayor Luke Ravenstahl's office overnight, and, when he failed to materialize by morning, they headed to his house... “I wholeheartedly believe in the right to peaceful assembly, however, that does not give anyone the right to damage private property and to frighten people's young children,” Ravenstahl said. Ravenstahl has a son, Cooper, 4.

I am glad for the high temperatures across the US right now. I think it is helping to keep these "protests" smaller than they would otherwise be.

What kills me is that they bury the story of a million people protesting Obamacare but give headlines to any size protest on Zimmerman.

I’m afraid we’re doomed as we have obviously lost the free press, a pillar of democracy.

I wonder if the protesters can name just one of the young black men killed in the city in the last month?

Proving just how stupid they are. The Boy Mayor is on his way out, buried under a blizzard of corruption charges. Has rarely been seen in public between the time his police chief was convicted and this article.

Even if none of that was true, what is the mayor of Pittsburgh supposed to do about a resolved court case in Florida?

Ravenstahl called this “a time of intense reflection in America”

No, no it's not a time of deep reflection for America. As usual black agitators are demanding that white America be reflective over an alleged epidemic of white people killing black people that does not exist. Meanwhile, the black community is the least reflective community in America. Newborns are more reflective. Far too many black people refuse to look inwardly and attribute any of their problems to their own social pathologies, and they refuse to look at the big picture and recognize that the true inter-racial murder epidemic is blacks killing whites.

These people are insane. They should not be catered to. They should be rebuked with the strongest terms.

Doesn't matter to the moron crowd. He's a symbol and his failure to show up at the office and feed their egos hurt their feeeeeeeeelings.

Order the cops to run him in for jaywalking if he dares set foot within city limits.

Should we start doing this?

I mean, I would LOVE to “sit in” at Lois Lerner’s house (of course I don’t have any idea where she lives, but it’s proabably in the DC Metro area.)

However, I generally hate it when people do this, at a person’s office is one thing, but families and children should be left out of things.

See this is the same debate, should we be better than them, or should we get right down in the gutter with them?

Of course, like the Tea Party v. Occupy Wall Street the media will ALWAYS portray our side as eeeeevil and their own side as angels.

But, if we’ve got the name, should we have the game?

perhaps we need a time place and manner law.

No protests in front of ANYONE’s home for any reason.

"The demands include more local input in economic development projects in black neighborhoods and an investigation of “systemic criminalization, abduction, abuse and murder of black people."

It's Friday, I needed a good laugh...

Don’t forget the other grievance - stop knocking down so many of our abandoned houses.

They Demand: “an investigation of “systemic criminalization, abduction, abuse and murder of black people.”

And will they be happy when they find out that the answer IS: Black people in crime areas are by and large lazy, uneducated drug users who prey on each other, abuse each other and kill each other.

They lack parenting skills, they reuse to assimilate to a civil society. They lack job skills, they feel entitled to other people’s money, and they lack a work ethic.

Also, they refuse to be responsible for their own community, and teach personal responsibility.

If a rare person of color comes to lead them into a responsible and clean life, black people will assault and attack and marginalize that person.

There are no answers. Blacks, in those crime areas, are like Palestinians. They just want chaos and strife. For the most part, there really is no peace anywhere around them.

The smart ones get out and never look back.

Justice for Christopher Cervini before justice for Trayvon.

I know, they both got their justice, but fair is fair.

My small PA city will be holding a Trayvon rally at Noon Saturday downtown.

Participants are supposed to wear hoodies.

Accuweather RealFeel temperature is to be in the triple digits.

Whatever happens to those LIVs happens.
