Deputies: Hammer assault injures 2 men, woman

JEFFERSON TWP., Montgomery County — Three people were injured in an assault involving a hammer on Dayton Farmersville Road this morning, deputies said.
Authorities responded to the residence in the 6700 block of Dayton Farmersville around 12:30 a.m.
Deputies said the three people were involved in some type of fight at the house and the three people were injured as a result of the altercation.
All three people, which included 2 men and a woman, were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries, according to deputies.
It was unclear if any arrests had been made in the case.
Deputies are continuing to investigate the incident.
