Bishop Kieran Conry of Arundel and Brighton has written a pastoral letter urging Catholics in his diocese to reach out to Muslims.
In the letter he quoted from the Second Vatican Council’s declaration on non-Christian religions, Nostra Aetate, which said: “The Catholic Church rejects nothing of what is true and holy in these religions.”
Bishop Conry wrote: “These words and sentiments are very important for our time, when latent suspicions and hostility can easily be brought to the surface again by tragic events like the murder of Drummer Lee Rigby in Woolwich.”
He continued: “I am writing this on the first day of the Muslim holy season of Ramadan. I ask that you accept this urge to dialogue, so that at least we might understand one another more.
“Very often our image of Islam is simply the one presented by the media, and how often do we complain that the media view distorts the reality of the Catholic Church? We must not in our minds associate the word ‘Muslim’ with any of the negative and pejorative terms often linked to it in the media.”
He said that inter-religious dialogue was “not just a dialogue of charity”, but also a “dialogue of hope.”

All anybody needs to understand about Islam is that there is one superior form of humanity, the Noble Islamic Gentleman. All the rest of humanity, including the entire female gender, falls into the class of “dhimmi”, a subordinate of every wish of the Nobile Islamic Gentlemen, and the “kufir” or the infidels who defy any attempt to recognize Allah as the supreme power in the Universe, and Mohammed Ali as the Prophet (p*ss be on his name).
The “dhimmi” are allowed to exist, and even to practice whatever kind of religious piety they choose, so long as they pay the tax levied upon them, and do nothing that interferes in any way with the full enjoyment of the fruits of Koranic observance by the Noble Islamic Gentleman. This involves springing with alacrity to fulfill the wishes of the master, or even anticipate them. Failure to do so immediately demotes the person of the “dhimmi” class to the “kufir” class, and makes him (or her) subject to a sentence of death, unless, of course, an instantaneous recantation of the sin committed is forthcoming.
The “kufir” are regarded as some form of lower animal, pigs and monkeys, if you will, and are subject to death upon capture. Their presence is considered to be unclean, and the only way to wash away the filth is with their blood spilled upon the ground. Decapitation is the preferred method of dispatching the “kufir”, but in a pinch, a bullet to the base of the skull works just as well.

Invade their countries, kill all their leaders, and convert the rest to ANY religion that is not Islam.
Just retracing the steps that were taken to introduce Islam to all the places to which it has spread.

I disagree. I think it was a real demon. If Satan wanted to create a church, it would be a twisted opposite of Christ’s church. Islam is exactly that. Mohammed wasn’t smart enough to invent something so profane on his own.

When you hear a bishop saying something foolish, these days you can be sure he's an old fool. The young priests are so much better. From what I've read, Conry appears to be a pretend-nice jackass who snipes about anything or anyone with a traditional or conservative point of view—including his brother bishops. He can't stand up to the mudslimes or the poofs or the NewChurch granola-heads.
In a conversation about Conry, someone brought up that quote from St. Athanasius: "The floor of hell is paved with the skulls of unfaithful bishops."

I would add that in our time there have been efforts by 0bama and others to praise the accomplishments of Islam and Muslims over the centuries.
Algebra and architecture to name the only ones I can think of.
What is not told or understood by many is that those achievements were likely the the work of their slaves or the dhimmi’s they ruled.
I read something on this quite some time ago and can’t recall the source.
Go back and review history. The ‘dark ages’ from the 5th - 15th century tells all one needs to know about Muslims. They are not nice people, period. If one thinks otherwise that is one huge mistake.
