Wheres the thou shalt not offend Obama clause in the Michigan state constitution? Im unable to find it.
Prior to her ruling on Friday, (Judge Rosemary Aquilina) criticized the Snyder administration and Attorney Generals Office for what appeared to be hasty action to outflank pension board attorneys.
Its cheating, sir, and its cheating good people who work, the judge told assistant Attorney General Brian Devlin. Its also not honoring the (United States) president, who took (Detroits auto companies) out of bankruptcy.
Aquilina said she would make sure President Obama got a copy of her order.

Sounds like she wants to polish Obama’s knob.Sorry Lady,Reggie has that job nailed down.
This is satire....right?
What a dopey judge.

You can’t make this liberal baloney up. They find new lows of silliness every day. It’s quite sickening to watch and hear.
Cheating...and not honoring the president. Where are these concepts in the state constitution? I guess being a Democrat means you can make up the law to suit your political interests.
...........Its cheating, sir, and its cheating good people who work, the judge told assistant Attorney General Brian Devlin. Its also not honoring the (United States) president, who took (Detroits auto companies) out of bankruptcy....................
You have to totally shitting me!
All of the Motown problems will cheat those who work? And now, after Zer0 gave away the major ownership of the auto companies to the unions, we taxpayers will again be required to pay Detroit their Robinhood underfunded pensions???
I don’t think so!
Sadly, this is not satire. But it should be.
when the pay checks start bouncing or just stop showing up. Do you think they will get it?
Darn. I was betting on satire, too.
It’s impossible to tell when the nuts are running the asylum.
Corruption of the judiciary submitting to the executive is far down the path to tyranny.
No. But it is scary.
I thought this was satire. Some of the comments on that story are frightening.
The one about the pensions being guaranteed by the state constitution was brilliant! Why didn’t we think of that?
I am going to ask for a ballot initiative to change my states constitution guaranteeing every citizen one million dollars! It will be law right?
This is easy! Maybe the democrats have it right and they can simply legislate money at the local and state level. I would also like to legislate jackolopes, unicorns, and the tooth fairy. My kids love the tooth fairy.
We are screwed......
OMG IT’S NOT SATIRE!!!
Well, she’s got herself positions to be Obama’s next Supreme Court appointment.
Commandante Zero suspended operation of BR laws sua sponte by XO?
“Comrades! All over America this morning there were spontaneous, irrepressible demonstrations when ‘no limit niggas’ paraded from public housing and their parents’ basements and paraded through the streets with banners breaking s*** and voicing their gratitude to Big Bro’ for our new and happy lives due to his wise leadership.
Skittles rations will be increased ...”
Something tells me this judge has stepped outsider her jurisdiction with this “ruling”. It will be interesting to see how this “ruling” is followed.
After reading this a few times, I conclude-
1)The Judge was pressure to stop the Bankruptcy
2) Was told over and over how 0bama saved Detroit, and how 0bama was not pleased and would be watching
3) Judge got pi$$ed off and frustrated.
4) Inserted into her ruling the nonsense that came from 0bama’s lackeies
In the full glare of the sun, the Banana Republic trashes the law and marches on.
She is a county judge. She has no standing and no authority to stop a Bankruptcy proceeding. Bankruptcy is a Federal Court matter.
Affirmative Action judge wanted her15 minutes of fame.
Exactly. The BR petition was filed just before she was asked to sign a restraining order. She can ignore a federal BR stay at her own peril.
She looks young so may figure Zero can use another ‘wise latina.’
I’ve heard talk radio callers state that it is against the law to show disrespect for the president. Yes I have.
With judges like this, who needs laws?
Stupidity, as defined by Webster (probably Daniel Webster, okay? Sound good?) is "deliberate ignorance."
I don't think this is deliberate. This is a birth defect.
I think the next step is to issue pensions in two forms....one is a 50-percent deal in cash, and the other is a 50-percent deal in a IOU. The IOU will be good in five years. The judge will get upset and then you suggest a private meeting where the finances are laid out in front of the judge. There just isn’t anymore money, and if you raise taxes significantly....people will just leave the city. This is truly a lose-lose-lose situation. At least the IOU would have some value...if the guy lives long enough to see it conclude.
I have a counterproposal: Why not issue pensions in three portions: the first portion would be 33-1/3 percent in IOUs; the second portion would be 33-1/3 percent in coupons redeemable in five years for (more) IOUs; and the third portion would be 33-1/3 percent in "Obamadollars?"
We got us a cult.
Is she a wise Latina?
She did not halt the bankruptcy, she has no standing to do so
After a debate about presidential hopeful Mitt Romney and President Obama got personal, a North Carolina social studies teacher warned a student that speaking poorly of Obama could lead to his arrest.
One of my pet peeves over the decades has been the lack of use of impeachment. Here’s a judge, who needs a good impeaching. She is obviously unsuited to be a judge. Michigan State Legislators, start your hearings.
IF this judge is the best Michigan has to offer—the whole country is in worse trouble than we thought.
The networks were stating that it takes an AVERAGE of 58 minutes for the police to respond in Detroit.
Maybe it also takes as long in Chicago and that is why so many people are dying on the streets there every day.
58 minutes is a long time to get to somewhere else.
Meanwhile, U.S. Rep. John Conyers Jr., D-Detroit, said Friday that Aquilinas ruling justifies the need for congressional hearings on whether Detroit is misusing the bankruptcy process to slash retiree pensions and health insurance coverage.
This and your bloated welfare city are two main reasons why your city went bankrupt.
