The Rise of the Warrior Cop
Wall Street Journal ^ | July 20, 2013 | Radley Balko

Posted on 07/20/2013 8:27:24 AM PDT by Makana

On Jan. 4 of last year, a local narcotics strike force conducted a raid on the Ogden, Utah, home of Matthew David Stewart at 8:40 p.m. The 12 officers were acting on a tip from Mr. Stewart's former girlfriend, who said that he was growing marijuana in his basement. Mr. Stewart awoke, naked, to the sound of a battering ram taking down his door. Thinking that he was being invaded by criminals, as he later claimed, he grabbed his 9-millimeter Beretta pistol. himself in his jail cell. Sean McCabe The police say that they knocked and identified themselves, though Mr. Stewart and his neighbors said they heard no such announcement. Mr. Stewart fired 31 rounds, the police more than 250. Six of the officers were wounded, and Officer Jared Francom was killed. Mr. Stewart himself was shot twice before he was arrested. He was charged with several crimes, including the murder of Officer Francom.

The police found 16 small marijuana plants in Mr. Stewart's basement. There was no evidence that Mr. Stewart, a U.S. military veteran with no prior criminal record, was selling marijuana. Mr. Stewart's father said that his son suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder and may have smoked the marijuana to self-medicate.

I’ve been using a variation of that implicit threat with leftists for a while now. Most are so horrified that they don’t know how to respond. They just walk away. Seed planted.

It is funny. The more you look at animals in nature, the more you realize God standardized these r and K-psychologies. Liberals are the bunnymen of our species.

“Liberals: Defying the laws of nature for generations”

Every so often one reads about them qualifying for the Darwin Awards by assuming room temperature through bizarre and unconventional means, but the way they behave as pack animals would lead me to wonder why they aren’t all extinct by now.

Some say “God has a plan” - I say God has a (wry) sense of humor.

YCSO already has 3 up-armored HMMWVs that never get used.

EVERY lst government agency at the Local, State, and Federal Level has a SWAT.

Child Welfare? Check.
IRS? Check.
EPA? Check
Public Library? Coming soon. Those up-armored Hummers will be out with the Men in Black Kevlar collecting overdue book fines.

Cool gear. Cool guys. Bored guys. = If there ain't trouble, they can supply it.

Yeah, I got your book, and I will let you know what I think of it when I finish.

...grab the names and home addresses of a few zero contributors off the FEC donation records database, and go to their homes, in the middle of the night...

I've already tested this in a more safe manner.

I let 'em know that I will give anonymous tips to the police that their kids are dealing drugs to other kids.

Yep, their faces go white, for two reasons, first they know that they and their kids (who may be inexperienced enough to sass or make a move) will face the LEO's intended for YOUR door, and second they know their kids probably ARE fooling around with drug and are dead meat.

They get really mad about this, even though their own cops encourage us good guy anonymous tipsters, go figure.

I’m glad the bullet I took in the left hip, in 1974 and still carry, wasn’t a HP. It was a one-in-a-million shot, which missed everything vital and stopped just short of the spine.

“In 2006, 38-year-old optometrist Sal Culosi was shot and killed by a Fairfax County, Va., SWAT officer. The investigation began when an undercover detective overheard Mr. Culosi wagering on college football games with some buddies at a bar. The department sent a SWAT team after Mr. Culosi, who had no prior criminal record or any history of violence. As the SWAT team descended, one officer fired a single bullet that pierced Mr. Culosi’s heart.”

What the hell! People can’t even make a little wager with their buddies on a football without a SWAT team killing them??? We have a full fledged police state, where everyone has to live in fear of the police. And marijuana needs to be legalized. The war on drugs has been one of the biggest boondoggles and failures in history.

My guess is that equipment in Yuma would be getting used more if they weren’t enjoined by the Feds from enforcing the immigration laws in that area. They could be covering a significant stretch of border.

I hope you enjoy the book. I feel it has a lot if interesting info documented in it, and the idea, if accepted could help a lot as we head into this storm.

“Yep, their faces go white, for two reasons, first they know that they and their kids (who may be inexperienced enough to sass or make a move) will face the LEO’s intended for YOUR door, and second they know their kids probably ARE fooling around with drug and are dead meat... All of Liberalism is about foisting disadvantage on others, behind their backs, while avoiding any consequence. Posit them enduring consequnces (especially Darwinian consequences), and they will respond phsyiologically, with blood pressure drops, panic attacks, heart rate changes, and the works. What amazes me is how powerful words are with them, and how little we make use of this.

I am kinda hopeful that if I can spread r/K, it will carry with it the utility of that kind of rhetoric. Now it is portrayed as unintellectual and crude. But if we can get it portrayed as a mark of a brilliant understanding of the defective Liberal psychology, and get it used more widely and proudly, things could head back in a more K-direction very quickly.

Lucky fellow, I have one grazing wound to the left neck that just missed the cardiac artery by about 1/4 in, the doc said he see the artery pulsing. Now it seems that the war has arrived here instead of me going there. I was more afraid my own government in VN that the enemy, now I don't trust ANYTHING my own gov. says or does. When you are on your own turf the rules go out the window, Long live the Republic if we can regain it.

First thing, is change your front door so that it cannot be “knocked” open by police or other home invaders. American doors were designed in a pre hope and change environment and are no longer appropriate designs.

“How do you defend against overwhelming force?”

First, learn how to shoot. It’s obvious the cops don’t
know how. Second, take advantage of their ignorance,
remember the government only hires the unemployable.
Third, plan on not being where they think you are.

Look at all the fear that one nut in California caused. Imagine an entire segment of the nation doing that if the SHtF...
