40-Year-Old Photo Still Makes Us Smile (A picture is worth a thousand words)

I thought this picture was a great reminder of the great opportunity Obama has squandered to unite our great country. I am so very tired of his divisive identity politics and contempt for America. It's hard to keep a positive attitude these days and I thought this picture provided a little inspiration for why we need to keep Obama from tearing our country apart.

A couple favorites from that site:

“What we should do in all our schools is to turn out fewer job seekers and more job-makers.
Any one can seek a job, but it requires a person of rare ability to create a job.”

“A whining crying race may be pitied but seldom respected”

-Booker T. Washington

I wonder what the man would think about the USA in the year 2013.

Thanks for the ping. It is a lovely picture and I honestly don’t see where or how this ends. It is spinning out of control. It’s the 2 steps forward, 10 giant steps back now that we have an out and out hater running this nation.

If the white people ever truly decided to band together as blacks do, things would come to a stop pretty quick. I for one am tired of having my back up against the wall, being told I’m racist, and told I have to apologize for being white! I’m so done with this, and so furious at the powers that be who let it get to this point.

It’s up to our Lord at this point, I honestly do not know how else to navigate this time in my life. It’s been wall to wall for a week and it’s just exhausting!

July, 1973. Just a wild guess. ;-)

Hey, no fair. You know us Freepers don't actually read the dang articles! ;-)

I couldn’t fixate my identity on race if I tried. I’m just me, and refuse to be a mere hunk of meat.

Standing ovation.

My good friend who was born in W. Africa to an African father and white American mother feels exactly the way you do, and so do I.

radical feminism has done far more damage to this nation that normally allowed in polite discussion,

Absolutely the truth. No need to add “radical”, feminism is all evil and all radical, from its very beginnings in the 19th century its proponents were into sexual perversion, “open” marriage, hated children and were also into proto-communism.

EVIL!

I tend to express myself somewhat facetiously

whether its obvious I dunno

evil is as evil does

AMEN!

feminism has distorted society in so many ways that entire books have been written about it’s pernicious effects!
