It really is time to start calling McCain by the nickname, “Rocky.” That should apply for the rest of his life. This clown really is as dumb as a box of rocks.

I understand your sentiment, but I don’t think you would have preferred Rodney Glassman as a senator, and that’s what you would have gotten had Hayworth actually beaten McCain. You might still get to see him in the Senate when McCain croaks if the Arizona Stupid Party can’t pull itself together. When you have these long-serving senators, the pipeline gets neglected and becomes pitiful. I think that’s where the AZ GOP is right now.
Newt Gingrich acted the same way toward Clinton as he too was taken in by syrupy speeches and a silver tongue. What a disappointment both men were/are to America.
