This is all just so stupid.

I know people who have tried to hire help in D.C.
The cost of living there is so outrageous, you cannot get
anyone with functioning brain cells for minimum wage.

Walmart would quickly learn this and soon they’d be paying something close to the wage they are suggesting. Get out of the way and let the marketplace work.

Except it’s really about protecting turf for the UFCW.

Walmart should be stopped. They are among the corporate entities most responsibile for this amnesty and as such they should be opposed from now on on everything they set out to do.

Isn’t this kind of law outright discrimination?

Or doesn’t that apply to a business???

I shop Walmart every month. Their staff has always been helpful & I don’t think I ever got a bad item. Hard to beat their long garlic bread loaves in foil bags ready to heat in the over——for $1.48. Baked everyday right in the same building.

I always thought that as a customer, I was supposed to keep taking the full bags of the carousel as they are being filled. I admit to having left behind a bag or so in the past. but I double check now every time I go to Wal-Mart.

Yeah that what gets me, every time you need assistance there is no one around, but when you don’t need any help then they swarm around you. Wal Mart though isn’t the only one.

“Blah, blah, blah, don’t shop at Wal-Mart if you don’t like ‘em, noobee”

If they are going to use the law to destroy this country for a quick profit then they deserve the same.
