We praise Your Name, for You have done wonderful things. Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. Good Shepherd, You feed Your flock and gather the lambs with Your arms. You carry them in Your bosom and gently lead those who are with young. You are the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth. You neither faint nor grow weary; Your understanding is unsearchable. We exalt You, Lord God, and sing praises to Your glorious Name.
Lord, we confess that You care for our military men and women as they carry out their duties day by day. You are their strength always---a refuge from the storm, and a shade from the heat. Grant them comfort in these uncomfortable days. Grant them peace in these days of unrest. Grant them love in these days of vitriol and hatred.
Bless Your people Israel with Gospel messages and invitations to accept the true Savior, Jesus Christ. Call all those who do not have a personal relationship with our Lord, and may there be a bountiful harvest of souls.
Help us to take the church to the streets and the message of salvation to every soul. Bring us out of our comfort zones, Lord, and help us to do the work You have called us to do. Grant us a passion for the souls of the lost.
Lord, You will go before us and behind us; above us and beneath us, and always within us. Blessed is the Name of the Lord. Amen.

Amen, Faith, to your Prayer for Our American Heroes and For Our Nation.
Some people love to shop. They have a perpetual desire to buy, buy, buy. The craze to find the latest deal is worldwide. There are huge shopping malls in China, Saudi Arabia, Canada, the Philippines, the United States, and around the world. A rise in store purchases and online buying show that buying is a global phenomenon.
Shopping can be fun. Certainly, there is nothing wrong with trying to find a real deal and to enjoy the things God has given to us. But when we become preoccupied with obtaining material goods, we lose focus.
Jesus challenged His listeners with these words: Take heed and beware of covetousness, for ones life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses (Luke 12:15). He went on to tell a parable about a man who lays up treasure for himself, but is not concerned about his relationship with God (v.21).
How can we learn to be content with what we have and not be consumed with amassing more? Here are some ways: View material goods as given by God to be used wisely (Matt. 25:14-30). Work hard to earn and save money (Prov. 6:6-11). Give to the Lords work and those in need (2 Cor. 9:7; Prov. 19:17). And always remember to be thankful and to enjoy what God gives (1 Tim. 6:17).

Joining in prayer for our Heroes and our beloved Nation.
We come to You in deepest humility to ask the favor of blessings upon our country and the heroes who selflessly serve her. These are times when heroes go largely unappreciated and our country is under attack from satan and his minions. We beg Your strength and compassion as we fight the evil that pervades our every waking hour with love, righteousness, and prayer.
Thank you, Father, for listening to our pleas. We promise to praise Your Name and offer You our never-ending love and homage.
We ask these favors in Jesus’ merciful name.
Amen to your beautiful prayer.
Thank you for sharing the wonderful devotions today.
Joining in lifting up our heroes and our nation. May we turn our hearts back to God.
Amen to every heartfelt word. Amen.
I join in prayer for our heroes and nation!
