Christine O’Donnell might run for Senate again
Washington Post ^ | July 23, 2013 | Rachel Weiner,

Christine O’Donnell is considering a new bid for the Senate.

The conservative activist who rode a tea party wave to victory in a Delaware special election primary four years ago is interested in challenging Sen. Chris Coons (D) in 2014, the Wilmington News Journal reports.

O’Donnell would have difficulty winning over skeptics in the Delaware GOP, many of whom see her as a liability. After beating moderate Republican Rep. Mike Castle in the 2010 primary, O’Donnell lost in a landslide to Coons amid a series of missteps and damaging revelations about her past.

GOOD !!! After the maneuvers spent by puppet masters, both political parties, to defeat her, we know whose side she’ll most probably be on.

In just a flat comparison of accomplishments, she cannot match those of Coons, starting from the cradle on. His only problem was switching to the Democrat line which, in Delaware, makes him a shoo-in. Wish it were otherwise, but it is not. What has O’D done in the past 2 years to make up for her 2010 shortcomings? Not much.

Whether she runs again, we still owe her a debt of gratitude for taking out Mike Castle, who likely would have won and would have replaced Arlen Specter as a liberal republican in the senate. And Castle would have become another Jim Jeffords, leaving the repulican party when push came to shove.

The people of Delaware elected a liberal in 2010. Better that it was a democrat.

She supported Romney BEFORE he got the nomination. She wasn’t just supporting the party’s nominee.

She was defeated by almost as large a margin as Rick Santorum, when he was booted from his Senate seat, that large a gap indicates that she should not run again.

Her most avid freeper supporter her I believe later came out and washed his hands of her. I don’t believe everything about her was manufactured.

She destroyed herself when she ran the Ad that opened with “I’m not a witch.” She should have never said that and when she did it opened her up for Alinsky style ridicule. If she runs again there will be many ads and SNL skits with her dressed like a witch etc.. She will never win, she will be made to look like a fool and she is not good at defending herself.

I would love to see a set of commercials where she wears suspiciously “witch-like” clothing while she coyly tries to hide it

She is not the sharpest tool in the bag or the best candidate but where the hell is anyone else on the conservative GOP side where she lives?

I think the Delaware GOP is a liability - for CONSERVATIVE POLITICANS.

She supported Romney when there were more choices than just Romney and Obama.

Time for some of her witchcraft in the US Senate! It would be better if Sarah Palin runs—but this would be good too—we in the Tea Party—Freedom Party—Movement for America must do all we can to help her as the Liberal media tries to pull a Romney on her and render her Toxic like they did Sarah Palin. Their day is coming to an end—and they feel it—but rats will fight like tigers when cornered.

Sarah certainly was on O’Donnell’s side when the chips were down (Rove trashed Christine) and I hope the two of them can appear next to each other and support the other again....
