Christine O’Donnell might run for Senate again
Washington Post ^ | July 23, 2013 | Rachel Weiner,

Christine O’Donnell is considering a new bid for the Senate.

The conservative activist who rode a tea party wave to victory in a Delaware special election primary four years ago is interested in challenging Sen. Chris Coons (D) in 2014, the Wilmington News Journal reports.

O’Donnell would have difficulty winning over skeptics in the Delaware GOP, many of whom see her as a liability. After beating moderate Republican Rep. Mike Castle in the 2010 primary, O’Donnell lost in a landslide to Coons amid a series of missteps and damaging revelations about her past.

I’d rather she not, but that’s her prerogative...and something the Delaware voters decide. I was all about her beating Castle, but I just don’t think she could win the general after the crap last cycle.

I would advise her to inject a little humor into it.
Maybe an ad with her dressed as a witch, saying “that’s ridiculous, I’m NOT a witch!”

Make your accusers the ones who are absurd.

She supported Romney for president in 2014 for certain.

I’m not sure that reflects a good conservative outsider position.

O’Donnell was a Romney supporter in 2012 and I don’t admire her as much as I used to....

I would not support her financially unless she sought and got the endorsement of Sarah Palin.

FWIW, I’ve got to admire her courage. She isn’t moving to Wyoming to find a more conservative constituency.

She's got guts to try again.

Does Sarah Palin have such guts?

We'll see.

Wouldn't it be easier for her to bring in her 2012 return for a Second Look®? Seems like filing for office is a pretty cumbersome way to get your taxes reviewed.

I feel sorry for her in the sense that the government and media treated her so badly, but I still don’t want her as a senator. She’s a publicity seeker, pure and simple.

Because her first debacle wasn't enough to convince her.

Sarah went out and campaigned for JOHN MCCAIN’S RE-ELECTION!

Not a fan of THAT move (though I appreciate her sense of loyalty).

O’Donnell was a Republican who was practically committed to support her Party’s nominee. When you consider who the opponent was, it was not a hard call.

Meh. Delaware is a pretty hopeless liberal toilet. Let her run. Who cares?
She accomplished the goal of getting rid of fake “Republican” Mike Castle, and that was a pretty good win by itself.
