The Story of 13-Month-Old Antonio West
http://www.gloucestercitynews.net ^ | July 21, 2013 | John Branin

You won't recognize me. My name was Antonio West and I was the 13-month old child who was shot at point blank range by two teens who were attempting to rob my mother, who was also shot. A Grand Jury of my mommy's peers from Brunswick GA determined the teens who murdered me will not face the death penalty...too bad I was given a death sentence for being innocent and defenseless.

My family made the mistake of being white in a 73% non-white neighborhood, but my murder was not ruled a Hate Crime. Nor did President Obama take so much as a single moment to acknowledge my murder.

I am one of the youngest murder victims in our Nation's history, but the media doesn't care to cover the story of my tragic demise, President Obama has no children who could possibly look like me - so he doesn't care and the media doesn't care because my story is not interesting enough to bring them ratings so they can sell commercial time slots.

There is not a white equivalent of Al Sharpton because if there was he would be declared racist, so there is no one rushing to Brunswick GA to demand justice for me. There is no White Panther party to put a bounty on the lives of those who murdered me. I have no voice, I have no representation and unlike those who shot me in the face while I sat innocently in my stroller - I no longer have my life.

So while you are seeking justice for Trayvon, please remember to seek justice for me too. Tell your friends about me, tell you families, get tee shirts with my face on them and make the world pay attention, just like you did for Trayvon.

Thank you.

The big message here is to the Supreme Court of the United States, who in 2005, “abolished capital punishment for juvenile offenders, ruling 5 to 4 that it is unconstitutional to sentence anyone to death for a crime he or she committed while younger than 18.”

Which shows that the treacherous vote of Anthony Kennedy, once again the deciding vote in this case, really matters.

Always with an eye to international opinion, in writing the opinion for the majority, he wrote: “Our determination finds confirmation in the stark reality that the United States is the only country in the world that continues to give official sanction to the juvenile death penalty.”

This also shows Kennedy’s ignorance, in that juveniles are still executed in China, Democratic Republic of Congo, Iran, Pakistan, Yemen, Nigeria, and Saudi Arabia. Also many other nations *effectively* execute juveniles by starvation and Islam.

Kennedy was likely thinking of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, which the US (Madeleine Albright, on behalf of Bill Clinton) signed, but was not ratified by the US senate. It forbade execution of those under 18 when they committed their crime, which has not stopped those other nations from executing juveniles, with their legal system or not.

Who cares? And why would you want to see something like that?

wasn’t Mommy “profiled” as being white and therefore having money?

Yes, that is apparently true. What is *also* true is that little Antonio was callously killed because Mommy actually didn't fit the "profile" (she had no money to give to these Boulevard Bolsheviks, so they shot both her, and the baby...)

Do you really want to see a picture of a dead 13-month old who was murdered by being shot in the face?

“Why would you want to see something like that?”

That was the sentiment perpetrated on America after Sandy Hook. There is still no tangible proof that event ever happened. I am not saying this baby wasn’t shot, and I personally don’t want to see it, but it would stand as PROOF of the carnage at the hands of the inhuman THUGS walking the streets of America (which hopefully aren’t hired hit teams). It might make Moms going out for a stroll think about how to protect themselves and their children if the need should arise, especially if you live near or in the Serengeti. Make sense?

I posted a response on Post 11 - I am not mean and uncaring, but I also am sick of underplaying what happens to the victims at the hands of murderous THUGS.

No, it does not make sense to me. I do not need to see pictures to know that it happened.

Anybody heard about it being the parents fault? I would think it would be picked up by the MSM if true:

None of the “new” gunshot residue evidence changes the basic facts in the case — the Elkins kid pulled the trigger.

The mother would be expected to have gunshot residue on her since she was also shot.
