Her actions were not just stupid, they spread a false narrative about people who were there to protest. She needs to correct that false narrative Agreed. If she's truly sorry for what she's done, she needs to make a special effort to reach out to those she's maligned, in person.
I suggest that she locate the nearest Tea Party group and attend one of their meetings to beg their forgiveness. Knowing our folks, she'll be astonished to find that they actually will.
