It happened so quickly that Ben Srigley didn’t have time to ponder his lawbreaking.
With three pit bulls attacking a young boy on the street outside his Northwest Washington home in January, he grabbed a 9mm Ruger P90 handgun from his bedroom, ran outside, and shot and killed one of the dogs. A D.C. police officer shot and killed the other two.
Srigley legally bought the handgun in Virginia but failed to register it in the District. His act of saving a child’s life exposed him as a criminal, and as unwitting fodder for gun-rights advocates who saw his case a perfect example of why they assail as draconian the District’s laws that make owning guns exceedingly difficult.

Due to excerpting rules, I had to leave out important details. Even though the charges were dropped, he still had to pay a $1000 fine in order to avoid jail.
As far as I can tell, that leftist scumbag David Gregory never had to pay a find of any kind whatsoever.

How many micro-seconds after this occurred did libs start organizing animal cruelty protests with Obama announcing this could have been his dogs and that 33 years ago those dogs could have been him?
Poor dogs, just like the ones Obama would have had when he was younger.

Hmm, makes me wonder if the bike riding kid deliberately hit the dog. Normally, dogs will get out of your way. If the dogs had been out to attack the kid, they'd have chased him which doesn't work in this scenerio. Seems the dogs were fine until he ran his bike into them.
Must not have been a black dog, otherwise Al Sharpton would have got involved
I dunno. A kid would be afraid of colliding with dogs or other objects because you tend to fall off your bike. I don’t know kids who want to hit dogs or cats or other animals. I know some kids throw rocks at them to “see what they’ll do”. I can imagine the dog running up to the kid and the kid getting scared and speeding up, throwing the timing off. Dogs are pretty fast compared with a kid on a bike.

I hope every single Pit Bull involved in this attack is DEADER THAN A DOOR NAIL. Only a sick society would harass a man for acting to save a kid’s life.
