Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ), a member of the Senates Gang of Eight, told liberal activists at the Center for American Progress (CAP) on Wednesday how the Democrats plans to enact amnesty for the 11 million illegal immigrants: Get the House to pass whatever immigration bills it likes, then go to conference with the Senate bill. Get us to a conference," Menendez pleaded with the liberal activists, according to Slates Dave Weigel. "In a conference, we can negotiate the notion of bringing all those bills together and get to common ground."

"get to common ground"
Yeah; there's "common ground", alright: back in Mexico where they should ship EVERY Illegal and their Anchor Babies with them.

Pretty dumb on his part to say this out loud. It’s clearly the plan, but you would expect the Democrats and GOPe to be smart enough to keep their plans under wraps to lessen the pressure on 200+ Republicans heading to reelection next year.

Boehner already knows the plan. He is part of it.

The House should just pass an enforcement immigration bill and wait until it’s signed into law before passing any ‘reform’ bill.
That keeps the Senate from putting amnesty into it at conference, and shows it’s the Dems who are blocking immigration ‘reform’.

This sounds similar to Bachmann’s warning that anything short of no bill at all is a trojan horse. She’s right on once again.

Yeah, we know the drill. The house GOP thinks we are ****in’ stupid, and I guess they are right since we keep electing them.

House Republicans will go right along with this. Game over.

Sarah Palin and Mark Levin have pledged to start the Freedom Party if boehner passes any immigration bill. The gop/e know this without a doubt. Let’s see if they care.
