The U.S. Justice and Education departments said Wednesday that a transgender California student who is anatomically female but lives life as a male must be able to use school bathrooms, locker rooms and other facilities designed for boys.
The first-of-its-kind decision from the agencies tasks the Arcadia school district outside Los Angeles to change district policies and practices to accommodate the rising ninth-grade student. Teachers and staff must be trained in how to prevent gender discrimination, and federal agencies will be keeping tabs on the district through at least 2016.

This is out of control. This nation has completely lost it. And teens have enough problems without forcing them to deal with this BS.
I mean, all for what? How many “transgender” children could there be in one school? That’s like stating that if one or two kids has to fast on Fridays for their religion then the whole school does. The comfort level of the majority student body be damned if it means one or two children would be made uncomfortable seeing other people eat on Fridays!

The good news is no kid changes or shiwers in the locker rooms anymore.....too many cell phone cameras around so they do it all at home
I doubt that will happen (remember, she's pretending to be a BOY), and as far as seeing her naked body, society would be better off if we weren't so uptight about non sexual nudity.
In many other countries, nudity is more accepted, and I believe they have less of a problem with men who can't keep it in their pants because a woman wore a low cut dress.
However, our 'dear leaders' over here are not interested in having a mature and intelligent society.
So... we get silly crap like this. Boys who are excused from a little 'self control' because an unshapely female who dresses like a male and acts like one, wants to pee in a urinal.
What the boys should do is laugh, but ..... that would probably get them expelled and sued.

If I weren’t a spiritual person I wouldn’t know what to make of it. I guess I know where it’s all heading, I’ve read the Book, yet I can’t help but wonder why folks seem to so easily go along with it. God warned us and I can only thank Him that He gave me eyes to “see.” I hope and pray that many others’ eyes are opened as well.
There is a bright side. Pretty much everything that happens in America is a generational thing. Thus, when we had the Cindy Sheehan "Peace Mom" stuff in the early 00's, it was grown up anti-war '60s kids that made that happen. Presently, everyone seems to be going crazy about sex stuff, which indicates the sex-drenched disco-era (Carter Administration) '70s group is in power. Next up -- thankfully -- are the '80s Ronald Reagan generation, and their hallmark is pretty much traditional values and a disdain for BS. As an observer of the social scene for a lonnnnnng time, I really do feel that the '70s influence is beginning to wane. I encounter more and more pragmatic former '80s kids daily, who exhibit healthy cynicism and a respect for America's traditions, which they see as under fire. This will be VERY interesting to watch over the next few years ...
But the only time we really see someone else nude is when we ourselves are having sex, or other people are (or about to or just have) in the movies. It’s true if you think about it. (Unless you’re a doctor.) So nudity does equate with sex.
But then you’ll say I’m just proving your point I know. So, if we were to decide that our future generations be desensitized to nudity at what age do you think they should become exposed and whose naked bodies should they be exposed to? I understand the concept, I do. I was raised in a time where as a young girl I went to church every Sunday surrounded by women in long dresses and preached to regarding the importance of pureness and modesty and parents who reinforced that concept to the extent I could not come out of my bedroom with just my nightgown on, had to cover with a robe. Was told it was not “appropriate” in front of brothers and father. Imagine my suprise when now hubby’s 15 yr. old neice spent the night and came to watch a movie in our living room with just a t-shirt that didn’t quite cover her underwear. I found out her family, mom, dad and brothers walked around in their bra/underwear pretty regularly and I was shocked lol.

And I’d note that parents continue to send their kids to a government school in the first place. It’s not like they haven’t been warned several times of these kind of shenanigans. Welfare dependency is deeply entrenched in our society. Amazing what people will endure for tax paid daycare.

Don’t know if I’m smarter, I wouldn’t assume to be. But I might suggest that there really isn’t a way out in the larger sense. We’re at that stage where taking care of our own is the priority. Remember that at a certain point Lot had to decide to follow God and leave the denizens of sodom and gomorrah to their fate.
