Trayvon's mother: Latest juror statement "devastating"
CBS ^ | 7/26/13

Posted on 07/26/2013 6:21:00 AM PDT by SoFloFreeper

The second juror to speak publicly said in an interview made available Thursday she feels George Zimmerman "got away with murder" for fatally shooting Trayvon Martin, but that there wasn't enough evidence at trial to convict him under Florida law.

Martin's mother, Sybrina Fulton, released a statement saying, "It is devastating for my family to hear the comments from juror B29, comments which we already knew in our hearts to be true. That George Zimmerman literally got away with murder.

"This new information challenges our nation once again to do everything we can to make sure...

Frankly, I am sick of the attempt to canonize Trayvon. The bottom line is he was BASHING someone's head into concrete....and he told his victim "You're gonna die tonight...."

So the devastation this woman says she feels is a result of the actions of the son she apparently left to another woman to raise.

And the COWARDLY media will never ask her or Benny Crump or daddy Tracy any tough questions about the actions or character of George Zimmermann's attacker.

Me too - big time. The boy thug got what he was asking for. Probably not how he thought the beat down would turn out.

The berieved mother.

And she never got the gold jewelry Trayvon stole either.

The corrupt police took it and turned it over to the original owner.

Life in Whitey-Town is just so unfair.

Actually, there wasn’t enough evidence to even charge him, much less convict him.

“got away with murder” for fatally shooting Trayvon Martin, but that there wasn’t enough evidence at trial to convict him under Florida law.”

Someone in the state of Fla. ought to explain to these people that evidence (or in SOME cases, the lack of it), is the reason a we have a judge and jury who meet to determine innocence or guilt of the accused...instead of following the ‘judgement’ of public opinion.

Public opinion whicn is at best flawed, fallable, emotional, subjective (and THANKS TO THE MSM- both misinformed and uninformed)- I say that Public Opinion...CANNOT be relied upon to properly and objectively assess facts or evidence!!!

You don’t have to be a genius to comprehend this.

Day 6 of trial:
(CNN) — Jurors got to hear George Zimmerman’s story in his own words for the first time Monday as his interviews with police were played in court.

The former neighborhood watch captain is charged with second-degree murder for killing 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Florida, on February 26, 2012. Zimmerman told police he was pursuing the teenager because there had been a rash of crime in the area. A confrontation ensued, and Zimmerman said he was forced to kill Martin.

“I tried to defend myself,” Zimmerman said during his first police interview the night of the shooting. “He just started punching me in the face, and I started screaming for help. I couldn’t see. I couldn’t breathe.”

Tape of Zimmerman’s retelling of the confrontation between him and Martin could bolster the defense’s key contention: that Zimmerman reacted in self-defense.

Zimmerman began his interview with investigator Doris Singleton by saying that there had been a lot of crime in the area and that he had started a neighborhood watch program. He said he spotted Martin, whom he thought looked suspicious, and began to follow him.

At some point, Martin circled Zimmerman’s car as he followed him through the neighborhood, Zimmerman said, then the teenager disappeared into the “darkness.”

“The dispatcher told me ‘Where are you?’ and I said ‘I am trying to find out where he went,’ and he said, ‘We don’t need you to do that,’ and I said ‘OK,’ ” Zimmerman told the investigator.

Zimmerman then started to head back to his car, he said, but never got there.

“(Martin) jumped out from the bushes, and he said, ‘What the (expletive) is your problem, homie?’ And I got my cell phone out to call 911 this time, and I said, ‘I don’t have a problem.’ And he goes, ‘Now you have a problem,’ and he punched me in the nose,” Zimmerman told the investigator.

Zimmerman said the blow knocked him to the ground, and Martin got on top of him.

“He puts his hand on my nose and my mouth, and he says ‘You are going to die tonight,’ ” said Zimmerman. “As he banged my head again, I just pulled out my firearm and shot him… He is mounted on top of me, and I just shot him, and he falls off. And he’s, like, ‘Alright you got it, you got it.’ “

Credit to the jurors who, though their “feelings” may have dictated differently, followed the evidence and the law to a just conclusion.

If I had to try a Sharpton or Jackson, and the evidence was not there, I’d have to vote to acquit. But I would hate doing so, and probably would sound off about it like that juror.

Interesting, Jurors judge the facts, the judge interprets the law, but here we have a juror interpreting the law and appears to have ignored the facts. If the juror felt that GZ was guilty then how could she have voted not guilty.

How is it weird? The 911 tape is a small part of the fight and if someone SPEAKS something its hard to pick up yards away unlike a scream. Anyway, whatever. I’m not trying this case again here for you. It’s over. Not Guilty. Deal with it.

You would not have heard it on the tape, as Trayvon told this to his victim during the attack. There was no testimony that Trayvon yelled—rather he said it when he was up close and personal with the man he was trying to murder.

Obamaphones all day and night

I know someone who got his free phone. He complains that it only covers 250 minutes a month. Gosh, my $10 a month plan, on which I pay fees and taxes even when I don't use it, costs $10 a month. If I use it, it's 25 cents a minute. I laughed out loud at that complaint.

Wouldn't it be cheaper just to pay for land lines for poor people, making local calls free? For emergencies when not at home, any old phone if kept charged has access to 911.

I'm rambling from one thought to another....if the HOR were really on the side of fiscal restraint, this is the kind of money-saving solution they'd be making. Or maybe they're too stupid or too connected to the providers to come up with real solutions.

Wish the MSM would interview the alternate juror. He would vote not guilty based on timeline evidence. Per Jentel, when she spoke with Martin on cellphone, two things were established, Martin ducked and lost Zimmerman and he was very close to her fathers condo. The moment he ended his cell call Zimmerman ended his with the police dispatcher and informed her that he was getting out of his car to see where Martin went. Both men were apart and out of sight, but when the cops arrived both of them were on the ground near Zimmerman car and away from the condo. The juror raised the question, why Martin no longer shadowed by Zimmerman and close to the condo, not get off the street and into safety of the condo? The only thing he can draw from the timeline info and location of events, is Martin chose to go hunt for Zimmerman, find him and confront. Once that happens, the alternate juror conclude Zimmerman is completely innocent and Martin made the bad judgement that night.

Is Trayvon's mom aware that Juror B-29 said that by Day 2 of the trial it was obvious that there was no evidence to support her feeling that it was murder?

Is Trayvon's mother also aware that Juror B-29 called the trial a publicity stunt that never should have happened?

Juror B-29 is an obviously confused and unintelligent lady. An article takes a whole different meaning to the headline reader if the media uses her other statements...

Juror B-29: No evidence of guilt; trial a publicity stunt

That’s what I was hoping, too. But Zimmerman seems to be a very truthful and trustworthy young man. Have you read about his mentoring of black kids and all the good works he’s done? Very little has been published about this, just like all the good works that Romney quietly did for people in need.

They will not give this up.

If this jurour actually thought this, then they easily could have "stood their ground," and created a hung jury.

But they did not. They voted "NOT GUILTY."

Sadly, we are watching our system be cporrupted by racism, sensaltionism, fame, and greed.

Trayvon Martin was punk gangsta wannabe, who was raised for eight year in a household where the male was a Crip. He was into drugs and crime, he had been removed from school for these things three times, and that night he decided it was time to get a little "whitey smackdown," onto his resume.

He was mercilessly beating Zimmerman, and when Zimmerman was able to shinny away from the concrete he bagan to curse him, tellinhg him to shut-up (Zimmerman was screaming, terrified for help), and tried to smother him.

Zimmerma's testimony and the evidence is a rare look into a murderous rage from a guy who survived.

And let's be clear he survived for two reasons.

1) He had a gun.
2) He reached a point where he was willing to use it.

Zimmerman defended his life and was found not guilty by a jury. Now you have one of the jurors telling the whole worlds that she was a weak, immoral person, who, in essense, lied. or, she found correctly and now believes she can cash in on it.

"He got away with murder," she now says, when one of the charges against Zimmerman was second degreee murder?

Pure Bravo Sierra.

ZIMMERMAN NOT GUILTY

My theory is that someone got to this juror. She’s now saying this to help set the stage for race riots. If she felt this way in the jury room, why didn’t she vote to convict GZ? That was the time to do it. Not now. Their vote was taken, approved by all, and read into the record. Case closed. I wonder how the members of the OJ jury feels about their verdict. Do they now feel they let a double murderer get away scot free?

That’s how the program started. But then, someone had the idea that being hooked to a landline just wasn’t “fair” when the “producers” in the country had cellphones.
