The first time I saw that, I probably laughed out loud for about five minutes straight.

Dittos to that! There was more sustained comedy, one ‘zinger’ after another, and great ‘inside’ joke writing thru that entire episode! AIF in my opinion is unmatched as a 1/2 Situation Comedy and Carroll O’Connor, (For his work in AIF and In The Heat Of The Night), is television’s greatest actor.

One of my favorite lines (of many great ones) was delivered by Lionel to Meathead.One day the two were talking and Meathead,as usual,was yapping about “the struggle”.Lionel interrupts him and says “hey Mike,why don't you and I ever talk about the weather? You know,we black folks have weather too”.
