Honestly, I think Reagan could have dealt with Putin. He would respect him and Putin would respect him.
I don’t think Bush or Obama were able to fully understand and deal with Putin. He should be in our corner for the most part, and they both drove him away.
It all started with that school that was taken over by terrorists. I didn’t think we handled that well at all.
We could have made a lot of headway after that, and we mostly let it fall flat. That was a massive mistake IMO.

And we showed “respect” towards Russia by attacking their Serb brothers in Kosovo.

If Putin cared about Serbia, he wouldn’t have pulled all Russia troops from Serbia and abandoned them to their fate. Yeltsin cared about Serbia and Putinists do nothing but curse Yeltsin. Why? Because Yeltsin destoyed Putin’s beloved Soviet Union which Putin said was a catastrophe.
Being the USA’s enemy and supporting our terrorist enemies is not in Russia’s best interests. Putin does not care at all about Russia’s interests, only his own interests. Putin has robbed the Russian people and stolen their freedom. He has acted against his own people’s best interests.
I’m liking Ukraine more and more.
I’d rather go to Poland or Slovakia, they aren’t nearly as antagonistic and they also are holding the line for Western Values.

As cool as that was, the really BIG celebration is going to be when Serbian and/or Russian tanks roll back into Kosovo, and that day is coming.
