Does Prentice Hall ring a bell? Depending on when you went to school you may have had a few Prentice Hall textbooks. I know I did. One of their current textbooks, simply titled World History, is causing quite the stir in Florida. Florida Today reports:
Two Brevard School Board members are reviewing a world history textbook used in ninth grade Advance Placement classes amid concerns that it is biased in favor of Islam — at the expense of Christianity and Judaism.
House Representative Ritch Workman and individuals from two citizens groups spoke against the textbook, Prentice Hall World History, at the Brevard School Board meeting Tuesday, citing examples of phrases and passages they believe show bias.

The textbook in question has an entire, favorable chapter on Islam but a mere couple paragraphs on Judaism and Christianity.

I should add that it helps to know the left’s motivations. It’s a good way to predict how they’ll react to a situation. Anything that tears down western civilization is a good thing. They don’t really believe in diversity and multiculturalism. They believe every other culture is better than ours. It’s one of the main reasons why they want illegal immigration. Just like in England, they know they’ll be able to change America if they import enough people from other cultures.

Nearly all the K-12 teachers in this nation were trained by Marxist/fascist/Progs in Marxist/fascist/Prog controlled colleges of education. This true of teachers both in private schools and our nation's government-run, socialist-entitlement, and collectivist K-12 indoctrination centers.
The Marxist/fascist/Progs are laughing at us. Conservatives and Christians run around at election time like flies whose wings were pulled off by a sadist. Unless we shut down the existing cultural institutions, nearly all of which are controlled by the Marxist/fascist/ Progs, and create new ones, the Marxist/fascist/Progs will win.
I have argued with my contemporaries for years-— over 50— that it is imperative that you pay attention o who is on your local school board.
Electing ‘retired teachers’ who already contaminated your kids to be on the school board & proceed to contaminate your grandkids is just plain stupid.
The power of a school board is immense.
When I was a kid, the school board was made up of the local parents & taxpayers. The one night of the year we kids could count on our parents being united on anything was the night of the local school board meeting. They all looked over the books which were going to be used for every elementary grade & they settled on how much they would pay teachers, etc.
Sometimes meetings were spirited, but we all got a good education. I would NOT trade it for anything out there today- computers & all.
They ought to be more concerned over the American History books. I don’t think the Constitution is even mentioned anymore.
I do have hope...I have seen youngsters after graduation (both high school and college) who, when reality slaps them in the face, say,”This is not what they taught us in school...It’s MUCH different in the REAL world...”

This is the part where the taxpayers need to stop being “outraged”. They need to get together and go down to the school and jack up these public servants. Tell THEM how the cow ate the cabbage. Just a good, old time “come to Jesus meeting” with these commie lib pukes. These are OUR schools. OUR kids and OUR money.
