Sadly, this is becoming more common as people lose their homes to Obamanomics and ‘free’ their dogs, hoping somebody will take them in rather than handing them over to shelters.

There is nothing that is untouched by the won.

I hope the poor woman makes it.

This is EXACTLY what's going on in my neck of the desert. We live in a 70+ community 10 miles from a small town in Nevada. People fall on hard times and come out here and drop off "little Muffie", who turns out to be a mixed breed pit bull, like the one that came after my wife on the back porch.

He yelped and took off after Mr. Ruger planted a .22 hollow-point in his chest. Neighbors later asked me if I had seen "that big dog roaming about". The halo over my head was blinding.
