McCain was the Wendel Wilkie of the 2008 Presidential "election". His job was to ensure an Obama victory while maintaining the illusion of choice for the terminally naive American people. McCain and the Corporate Media had their work cut out for them because the On-the-down-low, pipe-hittin', worthless, talentless, record-less, merit-less, worthless Communist agitator from Chicago was such a nothing candidate that the slightest misstep would cause his defeat.
What’s it going to take to defeat them, I wonder.
Someone like Palin.
Actually, Palin is the only one who can, at the moment. But she has to be just as mean a SOB as Reagan, and Reagan may have looked like a nice fellow but he really, really was not. He could play politics of personal destruction right along with Clinton.
Not many conservatives can do that. Just not wired that way.
Thanks for your reply. I was going to say something like “fight fire with fire” - note my tagline.
Without being extremely courageous and willing to use virtual fisticuffs, the conservatives will remain the party of eunuchs (at best).
Fighting with bloody dishonest dirty tactics street fighters, following the tournament rules gets you killed, quickly but painfully.
“Palin is 100% viable.”
Palin is viable in an intelligent and responsible nation, if the people actually elect their leaders. The question is if we still live in a nation anything like that.
I’m not sure any of us can say for sure she is actually viable in today’s US, though.
He hasn't changed, the MSM still invite him on their shows to bash the T.E.A. Party Conservatives.
I don’t think that quitting during the presidential campaign would have helped her career, especially after she came back and resigned as governor.
