Egypt has been warned of the violence to come – by General Sisi himself
UK Guardian - Editorial ^ | July 27, 2013 | Gehad el-Haddad

Posted on 07/27/2013 8:59:36 AM PDT by don-o

The upshot of all of this is that when Sisi calls on all Egyptians to rally "in every public square", and when the general characterises these forthcoming rallies as a "mandate" to fight "violence and terrorism" this has to be seen as paving the way for more military action.

The end game is not very difficult to see. Sisi has already given the world a taste of what he is willing to do when officers opened fire on peaceful protesters during morning prayers. There were at least 50 dead on the spot, possibly as many as a 100 in total.

The violence has continued sporadically since then. And while most news outlets conservatively label the violence as "clashes" between anti-Morsi and pro-Morsi factions, the inescapable facts are that all the deaths have been among those protesting the coup and calling for the return of Egypt's hijacked democracy and that many of these deaths have come at the hands of non-uniformed state agents.

Thanks don-o. Shilling in the Guardian, Gehad el-Haddad propagandizes:

Your mistaken about the MB this time around...before it was the leadership of the Military before SISI that the people hated.

Further it is not the Military creating this blood shed...Rabaa is the MB foothold and their protesters were set up by the MB leadership, particularly one specific man...”Safwat Higazi”...

while the protesters were facing the police the rear demonstrators were being picked off by the MBS in order to make it appear there was a massacre by the military...the protesters were trapped between the two creating confusion...guns came out exactly as this creep anticipated...meanwhile he escapes as before....

Higazi is one very dangerous evil man who was also banned from the UK...and was the one who Launched Morsi’s campaign with the idea Egypt is vital for the Caliphate plans he is heavily involved with...further his assets were just ceased so he's on a rampage now to retain the power he once had.

“This prediction of violence and a “civil” war was easy. I predicted this more than a month ago on FR.”

Big deal. I wrote my prediction on the back of an envelope years ago, opened it, found $5.00 and bought a cup of coffee.

Predictions are like but-holes, everyone has one (except for those poor 3rd world babies born without one) and it’s crass to point yours out to others.

I am no MB fan. I would point out that the Egyptian Army does not appear to be MB fans either and Sisi (and his senior staff) have likely bet their lives on preventing the MB from taking power.

The MB are agitators - not managers. You and I both know it takes managers to run a country effectively. Our current agitator in chief proves this every week.

The MB has a history of sacrificing it’s little people for the cause so you are probably right. I saw the one MB guy dressed as a cop and I suspect that was not the only one.

Opinions are like but-holes too.

Rand Slams Congress for Funding Egypt's Generals: 'How Does Your Conscience Feel Now?'
Sen. Rand Paul is hammering his fellow senators for keeping billions in financial aid flowing to Egypt's military -- even as Cairo's security forces massacre anti-government activists. [by "anti-government activists" is meant church-burning Christian-murdering jihadists]
