So the Twitter pervert Anthony Weiner has been caught with his internet pants round his ankles yet again. There he was, ahead amongst Democrats vying to become New York Mayor, and with the worst timing possible, a young woman reveals that Mr Weiner – or Carlos Danger as he prefers – was sending her dirty pictures and dirty messages less than a year after he resigned from Congress for sending dirty pictures and dirty messages. Oh and for serially lying about it as well.
In an attempt to rescue his political ambitions yet again, his long-suffering wife stood by him at a press conference to declare that she had forgiven him. “Our marriage, like many others,” she said, “has had its ups and its downs. It took a lot of work and a whole lot of therapy to get to a place where I could forgive Anthony. Anthony’s made some horrible mistakes, both before he resigned from Congress and after. But I do very strongly believe that it’s between us and our marriage. I love him, I have forgiven him, I believe in him.”[1]
Well I’m glad she has been able to forgive him, but what’s this bit about “strongly believing that it’s between us and our marriage”? So the electorate is to ignore this round of transgressions because they are private issues between Mr & Mrs Weiner? Nobody else’s business!
Well I’m sorry to break it to Mrs Weiner, but her husband is not a private citizen. He was a Congressman and now he is attempting to become a Mayor.

"Like many others"? Odd that, my marriage hasn't been that way and I've been married all my life. Well, since I was a baby anyway.

In the car last night, I heard two loons on NPR saying that what Weiner did would become the new normal! Lberalism is a real mental illness!

Mrs. Weiner, the sex lives of you and your husband are probably your personal business for the most part.
It's the personality that is addicted to taking totally irrational and dangerous risks that has me rejecting his being in leadership at any level. The risks of injury, illness, and death to himself, his family, his associates, and his contacts are mind-boggling.
This is NOT a steady, rational hand providing wisdom and knowledge. This is a Dr Jekyll/Mr Hyde, bi-polar, schizophrenic canon careening loosely on deck.

Our Society has many flaws, usually forged by granting well-meaning exceptions to act of harm to the General Society.
One result has been that :
* Each of us is a victim
* No one is held accountable for their words and/or deeds that harm Society.
In this rudderless Society, guilt and shame have nearly been eliminated.
Thus, our sorry US House and Senate is at a loss to understand the concept of effective Checks and Balances.
THE most European of our Cities is NYC, with few exceptions such as the Financial District on Wall Street.
Also, the pervasive “boys will be boys” attitude toward politicians is pervasive along the Northeastern States.
The deadly game of seeing how much of your grandchildren’s money can be wasted will continue for as long as the majority of voters have the traits listed above.
Voters don’t seem to get the connection - if one will screw his spouse and the holy bonds that tie a marriage together, why would he hesitate to screw those who vote for him?
Indeed as people should’ve learned back during the Clinton Administration.
Americans are known for granting forgiveness and for giving the transgressor a second chance. Even when politicians scratch their itchy crotches........
But only if its sex. Period.
When, like Weiner, it involves sex PLUS lying, infidelity, reoffending-—that becomes the dividing line that bars forgiveness.
