The Florida Department of Law Enforcement was inundated with hundreds of phone calls Saturday after a group of protesters outside Gov. Rick Scott's office tweeted that Capitol Police were denying them food and water and urged people to call the agency in protest.
The FDLE denied the allegations and asked the media not to republish the phone numbers put out by the protest group Dream Defenders. FDLE officials said some of those phone numbers are used by law enforcement agencies throughout the state to request Amber Alerts and crime scene or investigative help.
Phillip Agnew, the Dream Defenders leader, said Capitol employees were allowed to bring hot meals to the protesters last weekend. But when a staff member showed up around 2 p.m. Saturday with cold cuts and bread, the police refused the delivery, Agnew said.

I knew that Scott and the other politicians were in on this. They probably set it up.
Any capitol employee who does that or did that should be fired --
Florida citizens-—YOUR tax dollars at work. One gets the government they deserve/vote for.
How about leave, eat, and don’t return.
Did you catch the last paragraph?
“On Saturday morning, FDLE released a memo estimating the overtime costs for Capitol Police since the sit-in began as $57,971.”

Race-baiting. It’s something like ‘Amnesty’: what do you get when you encourage bad behaviour?
I, for one, am happy that the protesters are Standing Their Ground.

What bothers me the most is that some of these protesters have their children in there with them! That is wrong on so many levels and in my opinion it borders on child neglect/abuse.
If you put out food for cockroaches, you get more cockroaches. How hard was that to figure out?
That’s just for the capitol police. And they don’t mind since they are government employees enjoying the overtime pay at taxpayer expense.
1. Show up.
2. Yell, scream, wail and cry.
3. Repeat until the objective caves in.
Absolutely disgusting. No rule of law for those brain-dead maggots, no way in hell. [insert eye roll here]
How about leave, get arrested, and enjoy the county’s free meal program?
I am here to protest and shut down your office, feed me.
“Notice: WARNING, not a restaurant” signs to be placed on all city offices in the near future.
