After House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi finally ripped Anthony Weiner’s “clueless” and “reprehensible” conduct last week, he basically hinted that she should go take a hike — and he’s been insisting that his campaign is going to continue as planned regardless of the newly surfaced revelations about the extent and timing of his sexting scandal.
In new poll last Thursday, however, found that support for Weiner among NYC Democrats took a sudden and gigantic plunge, with his favorability rating dropping from 52 percent in June down to 30 percent. Now, for the internal implosion, via the NYT:
In a new sign of tumult within Anthony D. Weiner’s embattled political operation, his campaign manager has quit, leaving his already skeletal team without a day-to-day leader.
According to two people told of the decision, the campaign manager, Danny Kedem, no longer wished to oversee Mr. Weiner’s bid for New York mayor after a week of bruising revelations about the candidate’s latest online conduct. The two people, who have close ties to the campaign, did not want to be identified because they were disclosing confidential conversations.
Mr. Kedem, 31, informed Mr. Weiner of his decision in the last 24 hours, the two people said.
Mr. Weiner confirmed the news on Sunday morning outside of a Brooklyn church where he was campaigning. “Danny has left the campaign. He did a remarkable job,” Mr. Weiner said.
Oh, boy. And when David Axelrod is telling you that you’re “delusional” and “need to quit,” you know you’ve got problems:

Yet anyone who had the "pleasure" of following his career in Congress and the hate-filled agenda that he championed has known for many years what a pathological snake of a human being he has always been.
And to think that he was leading the Democratic field for the mayoral nomination and who knows what beyond that is mind-boggling.
(Well, not all that mind-boggling if you understand how other pathological snakes have been advanced to positions of power by the dysfunctional yet terrifyingly-effective Democratic Party - Clinton(s), Obama, and more.)

Don’t count the Wiener out yet. The big money hasn’t spoken yet and they want the Wiener in NYC. Wiener is Schumer’s dog and Schumer will pull all the strings to get his boy in.
