And this debate will go on and on about natural born citizenship. As I understand it, the courts have never ruled on exactly what natural born citizen means. And, unless someone starts a court challenge to Ted Cruz or anyone else on those grounds, realistically, nothing would keep such a person from running for president.

The argument that he is, in fact, natural born is a compelling one. He never ‘became’ a US citizen at a later time. He was born of an American mother and immediately was a US citizen. Either there is a record that he later was naturalized at some later point, or he wasn’t. If there is such a record, that might be different.

I don’t understand all of this hubub about Cruz’ citizenship. Hello! We have a Kenyan/Indonesian in the White House, and it wasn’t like McLame was really born here either. In the end, it will likely come down to a senate permission slip, which they would give to him out of courtesy.

That being said, Cruz is an excellent champion for liberty and the American way. His debate skill would also come in handy against a shrill Killery, a grinning Plugs, or a Sitting Bull.

Cruz Control!

The Courts are given very little jurisdiction over these matters, by the Constitution.
Strange that the same idiots who claim to be “Constitutional Purists” can not point to any place in the Constitution where the Courts are given the power to disqualify a Candidate for President. That Power is given to the States and to the Electors and to Congress.
Cruz is Qualified.
I want Cruz to run for many reasons, not the least of which is that I can't stand these idiot birthers who think they own the Constitution and the English language and the Law, all by themselves!

There seems little likelihood that liberal elites won’t raise the challenge. The real question would seem to be: will the court’s give him the pass they gave the fraud occupying the Oval Office? Will they be afraid to hold an hispanic accountable the way that they have been afraid to hold a half-black accountable? This is now that hispanics have become a “race” doncha know. In any case the Rule of Law as we knew it will have suffered greatly but that will not stop a double standard from being displayed.

If Cruz is eligible for POTUSA so are the two sons of deposed Egyptian president Morsi who were born on the USA as well as Huma Albedin, Hillary’s confident and big time Muslim and Wiener’s wife. She was also born in the USA. I can’t accept that allowing such possibilities supported by the tremendous influx of Muslims in the USA and the ‘care less’ for USA part of population with other interests other than the Constitution. I believe our Nation’s Founders knew the perils of such possibilities and worded eligibility to prevent such. In my opinion Cruz is very good patriot but being such a patriot should not make a person blind to what the Founders intended. Obama holds the office of POTUSA but he is an enabled usurper. Enough is enough of this discarding the Founders intent which has been a cornerstone of this Nation for many years.

One thing Hussein has accomplished is lowering the bar for future candidates’ eligibility. The dems were successful in putting in place someone whose citizenship is questionable; that door swings both ways for conservative candidates. (Of coure a conservative would actually WIN the election while the dems achieve it by election fraud.)
