not really a surprise is it?
When advocating for voter ID we need to use ther same tactic that marijuana proponents have used.
They say: We should have the same laws for MJ that we do for booze.
As for voting ID the clarion call should be: You need an ID to buy booze, why not use it to PROTECT the santity of YOUR vote!!
Too late... donating to only Conservative candidates and shunning all gop party requests. If the gop want our votes then they need to change drastically and rapidly... or we will create a new party and replace them. To quote Mark Levin, “even if it takes 10 years”. To do otherwise fits the definition of insane to a T.
I agree...We need ID for practically anything we do now except vote and that just defies common sense, of course Rats not having it they don’t know the meaning of common sense.
We could have VERY effective TV adn radio ads advocatign for voter ID!!!
I can see it now, show a white supremicst stereotype stuffing a ballot box or voting multiple times and end the damn ad with “Do you want your vote stolen out from under you? Support Voter ID!!! Protect the Vote!”
We could create very effective ads for supporting voter ID that the dems couldn’t even bitch about because it is so damned common sense it isn;t even funny. Hell you could even say in the ad that if you are public assistance your ID card is free at the local DMV and shut down that stuipid
argument before it is brought up.
The reasons we don’t is because we are already so damned corrupt in washington and state capitals and city hall.
Personally I think we are doomed to corruption....
That’s what was involved by the RNC’s push to “help” Allan West being removed from his seat; this has also caused much consternation in KS where conservatives were forced to either flip a coin to see who would “retire” or choose to run against another popular conservative in 2012!
And as much as it should be used re: 2nd Amend.
If I am not required to show ID for a privilege, such as voting, why do I need one, let alone paperwork, to exercise my RIGHT per the 2nd?
