NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A 21-year-old was arrested at the Opry Mills Mall after getting caught recording a young boy in the bathroom.
Police responded to the food court area of the mall on Sunday in reference to a call about obscene behavior.
The victim, a 10-year-old boy, was using a public restroom and needed his father to retrieve some toilet paper. As the boy began to wipe himself, the father observed a hand holding a cell phone over the wall of his son's stall taking photographs.
The father confronted the suspect, later identified as Gerrit Greiert, who tried to leave the area.
However, as he was leaving, he began accessing the photographs, so the victim's father detained him and confiscated the cell phone until authorities arrived.
Once in police custody, Greiert admitted to taking photographs in the restroom and consented to a search of his cell phone.
Police found several photos of two male juveniles, in which their private areas were visibly exposed.
Greiert was arrested and charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
His bond was set at $100,000.
Greiert is due in court August 1.

I give the father credit for having more patience, tollerance and grace than I likely would have had. Of course, it is easier to explain to the boy, why the police came rather than why his father went ‘medieval’ on the 21 year old!
San Diego has a large queer community. The current DA is a raging lesbian. The last Republican mayoral candidate to run against perverted mayor Bob Filner was gay. As if that weren’t sickening enough, the city hosts a queer “pride” parade each year so that the gays can take to the streets what they do “in the privacy of their own bedrooms”. I try to spend as little money in that city as possible preferring instead to spend in outer lying cities that are predominately conservative.

Not really, such deviants have always been there, since ancient times. What has changed is today, people don’t shrug it off. Though I agree with other posters that the perv was remarkably lucky not to have seven bells beaten out of him before the police arrive, and another seven bells beaten out of him after he was in custody.
I think my favorite such police story was two cops who had arrested a child rapist. To get to the police station they had to drive on a road twisting and turning down a steep cliff. One cop sat in the back and shoved the suspect out of his side of the car. Then they would drive down to the next cut, pick him up, and shove him down the next cut. By the time they had reached the bottom, the perp had fallen the better part of 300 feet, 50 feet at a time.
He was somewhat the worse for wear.
