Should student loans be forgiven?
No!
But the Universities should be fined for extravagant spending on useless staff and grandiose facilities.
Can I have my mortgage and car loan forgiven while we are at it?
Should my auto loan be forgiven ?
Should my home improvement be forgiven ?
Before the argument is used for the stoontz ... I too am just starting out in life with my first car ... and my first home ... and ...
Who decides these polls are worth the time taken to think about an answer ???
If it costs $150,000 for a college education and a student borrows 2/3’s of this, forgiving it means they student walks away with $100K of my money...free! I’ll vote for forgiveness the minute the IRS forgives me a $100K in income taxes.
H*ll no!
Nothing will bring them scurrying to the voting booths to pull the lever for Democrat Dear Leader 2.0 faster than this will.
Like a bailout of Detroit, inevitable IMO.
Nope.
We should, however, consider limiting student loans to engineering, science, and math.
If you want to study English or pursue “ethnic studies” do it on your own dime.
Only if my mortgage or auto loan can be forgiven.
No, but they should be dischargable in bankruptcy.
If that happens, I want my loan payments returned to me with interest.
Marxist, jerks.
Tell ya what. If I can take a couple of years of income tax holiday, free and clear, then they can forgive one student loan.
Of course, that won't happen, because it would mean a couple of parasite units would be homeless, without obamaphones, without EBT, and all the other bennies they have been grabbing off my pay while I paid off everything I owed.
Eff 'em.

To be fair -- my college and grad schools resulted in $18,000 in debt which I paid off ASAP. Can I get a $97,000 tax credit? To be fair.
Even today -- "The average student graduates with $27,000 of loan debt" so if someone accumulates $150,000 in school debt, how is that my fault?
I'd sure like to drive a Mercedes if everyone else would pay for it.

I paid mine back, with a lot of sweat, hard work, pain and tears. NO...they need to pay, and people need to respect law, agreements, and do what they say they were going to do.
If a college student can’t find a job within a year after graduating in his/her field of study, the COLLEGE should be FORCED to assume the student’s loan!!!
Let the lib professors live with THAT one!!!!
...just ANOTHER RAT vote for us scam..see we love you and we make sure the tax payer pays for all of our lame brain train wrecks...don’t you feel better?. Our country is broke, and we want you to vote for Hillary, so she can fix it.....just like Odungo is....do you feel better?
YOU MUST UNDERSTAND, (a favor red flag libtards ploy)our colleges need tax dollars so we can brainwash students to vote RAT through intimidation (grades),professor political contributions,(they kick back donations to our party), the colleges “create” courses for libtard political favorites like creative middle eastern basket weaving with a Imam who also lectures on the many faults of Christianity, and US foreign policies....a dynamite two course creation you get
because YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND.....and it helps us to enlist foreign students to enroll for free (well the tax payer hasn’t found out yet)but the diversity enables us to broaden our faculty and staff with so many new perspectives
(middle eastern).....don’t you feel better?
