Eliot Spitzer needs to put a black sock in it.
The former governor-turned-hooker-booker, who is audaciously running for comptroller, had the gall yesterday to say serial sexter Anthony Weiner is unfit to serve as mayor.
Youre not going to vote for Anthony Weiner can you just say that now? You dont think he should be mayor of New York, host Chris Matthews asked on his MSNBC show, Hardball.
Spitzer responded, Fair point. That is correct.
Matthews repeated, He should not be mayor of New York?
That is correct, repeated Spitzer.
The disgraced Love Gov who has been trying to deflect comparisons between his comptroller campaign and Weiners bid for mayor even said he would fire a municipal worker who used office computers to engage in the same perverted behavior as Weiner, who resigned his congressional seat in 2011 after getting caught exchanging lewd messages with women online.
Spitzer refused to elaborate on his comments during a drop-in at a gospel concert at Wingate HS in Brooklyn last night.
Ive said everything Im going to say about the mayors race, he told a Post reporter.

headline should read “pot calls kettle...”
pot meet kettle.....
I just want them all to stay in New York City and leave my country alone!
I type slowly ..
If I were Spitzer I would make a big ad that had a picture of Sydney Leather, and Spitzer’s call girl.
The heading would say something like “Wiener’s Whore, Spitzer’s Whore. Nuff said?”
great minds, etc...;-)
In a perfect world, neither Weiner nor Spitzer would be elected dogcatcher.
Well, I was waiting breathlessly for Spitzer to weigh in on Weiner’s mayoral campaign.
Now, will Weiner weigh in on Spitzer? Wonder who Weiner is endorsing in the race for city comptroller???
Isn’t that “the pot calling the kettle black”? (Not a racist statement)
Hey Spitzer, shut up and drag another hooker across states lines at taxpayer expense again...
“The negative attention has spurred top Democratic forces close to Hillary Rodham Clinton and President Obama to launch efforts to persuade Weiner to end his mayoral bid.”
Until or unless money changes hands (theirs to HIS) Weiner is staying IN.
He’s become the butt of jokes ... and songs:
You are of course, right. Weiner has fallen under the revelation that he kept doing bad things even after he resigned. Could the same thing happen to Spitzer? There is plenty of talk about what goes on behind closed doors and there is a long time (relatively speaking) until the primary.
If it is culturally and politically acceptable for a man to stick his pecker up another man’s rectum and be elected to public office, then surely it is also also acceptable for a man to stick his pecker in front of a cell phone camera and be elected to office.
We crossed this bridge long ago. At least liberals did. And most of us are liberals now.
Eliot would know.
