These agencies operate on their own through unelected beauracrats. The only way to stop it is to shut them down completely.
That is not going to happen without a you know what

What a [civil-]war? No, there are actually ways to effectively eliminate them w/o violence, like simply enforcing these two laws:

1. 18 USC § 241 - Conspiracy against rights
2. 18 USC § 242 - Deprivation of rights under color of law

Applied to every person in, say the BATFE whose whole existence violates the Constitution (2nd Amendment), would eviscerate that agency. (Same for NSA and the 4th.)

Interesting article.

I did a little research and unlike the ACLU, the Rutherford Institute seems to defend the entire bill of rights - 2nd amendment and all.
