Nope, there is a third choice.

Via a new pipeline to Kitimat and then by tanker to China and other Asian markets. An underused gas pipeline in Eastern Canada is being touted as an alternative route to Saint John, New Brunswick.

Besides losing an additional 650,000 b/d and thousands of jobs, American national security is reduced if this pipeline is blocked.

Personally, I think Obie is going to nix this project. Transcanada better get busy on alternatives.

In case Obie is wondering about all this "global warming" crap. If Canada disappeared tomorrow the resulting decrease in "global warming", if any, could not be measured.

I know there’s the Warren Buffett theory, the Saudi theory, etc., but at the heart of 0bama’s childish vindictiveness is that 0bama wants to deny Texas of the economic benefit from XL.

This is wishful thinking. He will never say yes. Only to himself and his own ideas.
