McCain is the “shock jock” of the Republican Party. He likes the attention he gets when he says something like this, and it makes him feel important. He should be ignored.

We now have at least 4 additional Democrats in the Senate — John McCain, Lindsay Graham, Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski.

Turncoat McCain may not be sure if he would support Hitlery! or Paul but I’m sure - and it’s not Paul.

I have no doubt this traitor would vote for the frumpy pant suit over Rand Paul. Mcasshole has the same political views as frumpy pant suit. The people in Arizona need to flush this old turd and replace him with an honorable person. He is in the pocket of every group that stands against conservative Americans. How much longer can he milk being shot down in Vietnam?

You summed it up better than any evaluation I'd ever seen on McCain.
What is particularly discouraging is that he learned absolutely nothing from the presidential campaign in 2008. In May, he was the Golden Boy of the GOP who could do no wrong and say no wrong in the eyes of the enemedia. By September, he was an evil right-wing extremist and the third term of George Bush.
I think Mitt Romney actually learned something from the experience. He has not sought out any publicity since the election and never seemed to get his jollies poking conservatives in the eye with a sharp stick the way McCain does.

Well of course he’s not sure. He’s on their (Hillary’s) side, after all.
I think what the right needs is a tool or a way that we could ‘recall’ or force someone like McCain to officially join the Democrat party that they have proven to serve. A political office (turncoat) eject button would be nice.

I feel sorry for the hand-full of conservatives in AZ who have to constantly be embarrassed by this tumor. The AZ GOP as a whole must be serious dimwits as you said. They had a great opportunity with JD Hayworth and should be ASHAMED of themselves for not extricating this hemorrhoid McCain. Benedict Arnold before his treason was by far more a hero and by far more accomplished then traitorous jerk McCain. It would be more noble if he would just had run Democrat from day 1. I loathe imposters.
I would leave the state and go to SC where they -are- going to purge themselves of their traitor Lindsey and they have a great deal of which to be proud giving us Tim Scott, Trey Gowdy, Jim DeMint, Nikki Haley “and much more”.
To: Twotone
Try and imagine if you will, John McCain doesn't know what Hillary Clinton's baggage is. Failing that as I do, realize he still thinks it's a toss-up who should prevail.
This is what passes for rational thought for John McCain.
I'm not personally sold on Rand Paul, but between the two of them, it is unquestionably Rand Paul who would get my support.

There is a plethora of ‘Democrats in disguise’ in the Republican Party. We call them RINOs. The NSA calls it “moles” or “spys” or “traitors”. Same end result.

Difference between McCain and Christie. One is an ugly gnome, and one— a dough boy who might be losing his ‘rise’ Juan, Sen Ted wouldn’t miss what he never had.....any support from the likes of you. Remember Newt? he sat on the couch with Nan from Fran. He never lived that down either.

Full interview
John McCain, Undecided 2016 Voter IC: Given that you think things are out of control, what do you make of Hillary Clintons term as secretary of state?
JM: I think she did a fine job. Shes a rock star. She has, maybe not glamour, but certainly the aura of someone widely regarded throughout the world. I do think it is interesting that the issues where John Kerry is engaging is where Hillary Clinton did not engage in, that those decisions were left to the White House and the National Security Council.

I'm wayyy late to this thread, but it needs a further comment.
For conservatives who believe that nominating a centrist is a good political move...
...please consider how many alleged center or center-right GOPers turned out to be flaming fellow travelers at their core.
Specter, Crist, Christie, McCain, Rubio, and arguably Ryan...and many others. Sadly, the list is too long.
Lots of lessons, hereabouts.

Romney, both Bushes, Dole, it's ridiculous how much the GOP has sold us down the river, or rather for how little they've sold us down the river for. They are making it more clear by the day that they relish in Big Government and are firmly in the pockets of Big Donors.
McCain didn't say this on a whim, he knows full well the people of Arizona will keep on electing him as long as he wants to keep running.
To: Twotone
he’s on his last term. However, he needs to be made IRRELEVANT... no influence whatsoever.
Time to expose him as the wacko crazy senile turd he is.
