NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) _ A former Nolensville police officer has pleaded guilty to a federal mail fraud charge for demanding $200 from a woman in exchange for not arresting her for driving without a license.

Acting U.S. Attorney David Rivera announced Tuesday that Kenneth D. Lee had made the plea a day earlier in Nashville federal court. Prosecutors said Lee acknowledged receiving the $200 in three separate money orders in 2011.
