Spread-eagled against the wall and marched off: How Russia deals with illegal immigrants

Captured and humiliated, these pictures show how Russia is cracking down on its illegal immigrants.

Police officers raided Moscow's Tyoply Stan market yesterday to detain dozens of suspected illegal immigrants.

Russian authorities are currently holding a number of large scale operations to identify those staying in the country illegally so they can be expelled.

After rounding up the men, the police and immigration officers then displayed their no-nonsense approach in front of the cameras.

The men were spreadeagled against a large police bus, with their clothing searched by a police officer.

Others were made to wait, standing with their hands behind their necks as officers looked on.   Eventually, when they were all processed, they were frog-marched single-file onto the bus, each made to hold onto the man in front's shoulders.

The authorities in Russia are currently holding large-scale operations to identify illegal immigrants and expel them from the country.

It is believed that out of 11 million migrants currently living in Russia, four million do so illegally.

Well, isn’t somebody going to contact the UN Human Rights Council and file a complaint?

I do have the question though, seeing as how most of these illegals are from former Soviet areas.

During Soviet times, how many ethnic Russians moved into these former Republics....seems to me the Soviet policy was to try to have ethnic Russians move in and dominate all of the Soviet Republics and force out the locals, especially in the Baltic countries.

Political Correctness. We and the rest of the western world tied our own hands behind our backs when we fell for it.

How would one even attempt to sneak into Russia?

Their borders are all fortified, electrified barbed wire fences with guard dogs, machine guns and the like. And it’s wall-to-wall police checkpoints for the first 50 miles inside the country

Too bad the man didnt actually say that. He was not at that meeting on that date.

One more thing that is.false about it is that Putin has brought in almost as many muslims as our own government has mexicans. So much so that the muslims are getting all sorts of economic and employment aid that Russians are not eligible for, but pay for where Russians are having to live is almost abject povertyto pay their taxes to pay for muslim welfare.

Never thought I would find myself envying Russian governance.

I never thought I would say this (and I am 60 yrs old), that Russia & Red China are looking more appealing all the time. Especially Russia. Putin is an ardent nationalist & Russian patriot, and makes no apology for it. He is exactly right, when he compares the immigration havoc & destruction of Britain, Germany, France, the U.S., etc, caused by pandering to illegal aliens or even immigrants who have no desire to assimilate into their new country. God help us, when we have to look to Russia for moral values.

Mr. Putin is correct.

I’m not sure how many Americans could learn from his speech, though. Most people that are apt to agree with Putin have already reached the same conclusions as him. And then there are a great many who will never agree with Putin’s reasonable statements due to their worldview or because they are minorities who wish not to assimilate.

Sadly, there are likely numerous American politicians who agree with Putin’s reasoning, but they simply don’t have the stones to say it in such blunt terms because they fear being labeled ‘racist’ or ‘xenophobic’.

I have been in several former Soviet Republics commonly referred to as the "Stans". Yes there are many Russians still living there. Many are business owners, doctors, etc. Great people I might add and Russian is still spoken in many circles even by the ethics.

You've obviously never been to Russia.

I for one would feel much better with Russia back in control over the “Stans.” They know how to keep the Islamo-Fascists there in line.
