George Rivera got the OK from Secretary of State Scott Gessler’s office today that his petitions were accepted. If certified this week, it will put him on the Sept. 10 recall ballot against state Sen. Angela Giron.

Rivera, a Republican, will be the only alternative to Giron, a Democrat if Pueblo-area voters decide to recall her. Gun-rights supporters, angry at Giron’s Senate vote to regulate weapons, initiated the recall. Rivera needed 1,000 signatures on the petitions and delivered 1,513, he said. Of those, 1,462 were accepted, according to Rivera.

Rivera R v. Giron DU, district Pueblo, CO

and

Herpin R. v. Morse DU, district Colorado Springs

In recall message, Sen. John Morse avoids talk of gun-control votes

Sen. Angela Giron talks about kids but not guns in her first recall campaign ad

Whaaaaaaa no mention on why the DU twins are being recalled?

Theses two clowns must not poll very well. Heehee.
