It is hard to have any confidence in anything averred to by someone with a name like that.
Without reading it, I project he says that whitey gets away with the same crimes that send his bro to jail. To which I reply...naaah. The reply would get me suspended or banned.
hmmm. For me, at least, it was established by any one of the myriad of articles on crime that are here on FR over the course of any given week.
Or, by my own experiences. I didn't move out of the city and into a more rural area just for the fresh air.
But, who am I to judge? The author is obviously more worldly and diverse than I. /s

When the stats show that in an interracial violent crime, the perp is 10 times more likely to be black than white,
this author says that black men have more to fear from white men than the other way around.
I don't understand why white guys aren't trying to rob black guys?
If in 1980 there were 150k black men incarcerated, and today that number is 1,500% higher, then how is my fear IRRATIONAL..?
If black men MOSTLY kill other black men, then my fear should go away, maybe...?
But one thing I will say about this author —he’s WAY more honest about the problem, and writes in a reasonable tone.
He’s maybe one of twenty black male authors in the country who can do that.
Oh, I don’t know. The History Channel recently ran an interesting documentary on the history of the mafia. The criminals portrayed looked very White to me. Some of those “alleged” wise guys lived in my old neighborhood in daBronx.
If I felt the way these guys do,I’d emigrate to someplace more welcoming.
Maybe I’m over simplyfing things but it seems to be the only sensible thing to do.

According to the U.S. National Weather Service, the odds of being struck by lightning -- in your lifetime -- are 1 in 5,000. Is the fear of being struck by lightning also irrational just because it is small?
People are rational to fear things that may have a negative effect on life, property, and pursuit of happiness, because emotions, like fear, are a consequence of value judgments, and certain things like the frequency of blacks committing a crime are judged to be a negative value.
Perhaps blacks need to look at the concept of the “African-American Community” if they want answers. Since they have lumped themselves together as a “community”, then they all get painted with the same brush. After all, they demand that we paint them with the same brush since they insist that skin color trumps everything.
On the other hand, whites self-identify as individuals with a few ethnicities such as Italians or Irish clinging to a minor ethnic affiliation. So, when someone sees a white criminal, they say “that guy is a criminal” and not “those white folks are all criminals”. Oddly enough, people who are used to seeing a lot of Italian or Irish criminals in big city ethnic neighborhoods actually do start to suspect all Italians or Irish of being criminals.
As the statistical evidence grows that a large number of blacks are indeed criminals, it is natural to extend that statistic to the whole community since that’s the identity group they insist we place them in.
This worry stems from the perception and nurturing of the blatant disparities that characterized the system many years ago. Not so today, especially with the impeached and disgraced Eric Holder in charge of the Justice Department.
Crime statistics do not help to mitigate the situation. As pointed out by O'Reilly, crime statistics are way out of proportion with blacks committing most of the crimes, especially black on black. The "head in the sand" of people like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton who fan the fire of fear and ignorance of the people they represent, instead of recognizing the real problem and causes, such as unmarried mothers.
The black leaders, including the President, should be getting advice from people like Bill Cosby, black conservatives, and retired basketball players who know success.
To be perfectly fair, a good many white guys were lynched to. About 1/4, if I remember aright.
It is also fair to point out that there are about 5,000 lynchings recorded over a 70 year period. That's 5,000 too many, but it's fairly small beer in the worldwide historical atrocity competition.
The last one was in 1955, and there is considerable disagreement whether it qualifies. Not every murder was a lynching.

And what “position” would that require? A few renegade Blacks cause heaps of havoc in their own communities.

And guess why this was the case?
But more to the point, at the *same* time that it was believed that blacks had a propensity for criminality, the *same* thing was believed of the Irish and the Italians, on the East Coast, and the Chinese on the West Coast. The large number of German and Scandinavian immigrants were never seen this way because they did not remain in the coastal cities, but moved to the unpopulated heartland.
However, Irish, Italians and Chinese have not been thought of as having a propensity for criminality for a very long time.

So unless the theory is that the law is *inherently* anti-black, no matter the race of the judge and jury, the assumption that blacks have a propensity for crime seems to be born out in the facts.
