Carney Dodges When Asked Why Benghazi Suspect Hasn’t Been Contacted by FBI
Free Beacon ^ | 31 Jul 2013

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney dodged the question when asked about CNN’s interview with an alleged Benghazi terrorist suspect and his claim to have never been contacted by the FBI:

ED HENRY: I want to ask you about Benghazi, because CNN says one of its reporters sat down with someone who may be a lead suspect in the terror attack for two hours recently. This potential suspect says they’ve never been contacted by the Libyan government, and they’ve never been contacted by the FBI. How is it that someone who’s potentially a lead suspect in this terror attack could sit down with a media organization for a couple of hours and never be contacted by the FBI? How serious is–

CARNEY: Well, I would refer you to the FBI for details of their investigation. I”m not aware of anything beyond what you just said in terms of that report. The President has absolutely instructed his team to do everything they can to bring to justice those who are responsible for the deaths of four Americas, and that has been his priority from Day 1, as he made clear from Day 1. And, he will make that clear repeatedly as he’s updated on this process, but in terms of that specific report, I would refer you to the FBI.

If Jay has to say “absolutely” and “clear” more than once in a paragraph, he is lying, and could not care less about the dead Americans.

I don’t know if you caught it or not, but Paul went on at lengths about ‘disappearing’ people. He used the phrase 7-8 times in a few minutes. He was talking about the Egyptian military, but said it enough times for me to understand he’s concerned about it not only in Egypt.

Yep. Obama uses his NSA and DOJ to get dirt on the FBI to cease investigating the IRS or Benghazi while somehow managing to keep his OWN Marxist Muslim gay illegal alien history concealed. My my 0bama is a busy little faggot dictator!

Asking this liar any questions at all is a waste of time. His answer is going to be obvious. He should be fired to save the taxpayers the expense of his wasting our time.

Many Jews hate Jews too. (It means they hate themselves, but they usually don’t get to that insight). They therefore hate Israel too.

It must really suck to be Jay Carney. Then again, maybe he just doesn’t give a fluck.

The executive branch, the legislative branch and the judicial branch have immunity from RICO laws.

It was written into the law from the day it was drafted.

Local governments do not, or so I have been told on these forums by men much wiser than I.

I am certain that Muslim terrorists know that Obama wrote on page 261 in the paperback edition of The Audacity of Hope that he would stand with them if “should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” Well things have gotten ugly and Obama has demonstrated clearly who he is standing with, by not allowing the military to take any actions to save our people that night in Benghazi.

I do want to clarify that the terrorist quote I made in my previous post was only what I believe they would say if they were apprehended and properly motivated. I apologize if I created any confusion.

Fox news was all over this yesterday re the probable guilty killers in Benghazi being found and interviewed by reporters, and our FBI neutered by Holder, doing nothing.

Lawmakers: “Why hasn’t FBI talked to Benghazi player CNN found?” Jay Carney: “Um…...”
Hotair ^ | 08/01/2013 | MARY KATHARINE HAM

A good question, implicitly posed by the existence of a two-hour interview CNN got with a “person of interest” in the Benghazi attack now explicitly posed by a group of lawmakers on Capitol Hill:

A Republican lawmaker demanded Wednesday to know why investigators have not captured or killed any of the suspects in the attack on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, pointing out that CNN was able to find a man who some say was the ringleader in the assault that left the ambassador and three other Americans dead.

Eight GOP lawmakers are asking that new FBI Director James Comey brief Congress within 30 days about the investigation. They say the administration’s inquiry into the September 11, 2011, attacks in Libya has been “simply unacceptable,” according to a draft letter obtained by CNN.

“One of the pertinent questions today is why we have not captured or killed the terrorist who committed these attacks?” Rep. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, told reporters. “News out today that CNN was able to go in and talk to one of the suspected terrorists, how come the military hasn’t been able to get after them and capture or kill the people? How come the FBI isn’t doing this and yet CNN is?”

No word on why CNN is sending assets all the way to Libya hot on the trail of a “phony scandal” when even the FBI has decided not to bother interviewing the principals. Some news judgment, guys. Sheesh.

Ed Henry of Fox News picked up the thread at the press briefing today, and was told, well, pretty much the exact same thing President Obama said after the attacks in September of last year:

It is an odd coincidence that every press secretary that NObama has had I have wanted to stop the crap out of (Clinton too for that matter, except maybe Dee Dee Myers in her day, but not so much now).
