More N. Korean Long-Range Rocket Launches Expected 'Soon'

Steve Herman

July 31, 2013

TOKYO — Specialists following North Korea's nuclear and ballistic missile development concur the reclusive state is nearly certain to continue launching long-range rockets which may be intended to improve its capability to fire weapons of mass destruction.

A North Korean official in Pyongyang last week told VOA News that another launch of the Unha series vehicle will occur “soon” as part of the country's “peaceful use of space.” He did not elaborate.

Here will be the order:

a) DPRK launch of Unha (disguised in their press as a satellite) ICBM rocket targeting US territory. They may also have multiple intermediate launches of Scud/Nodongs into the Sea of Japan to threaten both Japan and US bases in Japan.

b) Carter arrives in Pyongyang to cool down tensions.

c) The DPRK ultimatum will be delivered to Obama with Carter as the unofficial envoy. He will carry back stated ultimatum/threat.

d) The coffers and other assistance representing appeasement will be opened by the US State Department toward Pyongyang, at the order of Obama and his National Security Council.

e) The US and world Mass Media will somehow again declare this as a "victory" of some sort, a win-win, when in fact it will be another humiliation of the Greatest Nation on the Face of the Earth by a starving, piss-poor third world backwater who has given us 60 years worth of guff.

Tell them go ahead, good luck with that. Then lets park an AEGIS cruiser with the BMD upgrades in the sea of Japan with a dozen or so SM3s in her magazines. See what happens. Practice is always good, and dummy/targrt missiles are expensive. If NK will provide them ...

I think we should change the equation. Go recapture the USS Pueblo, which has been a public disgrace to our military for decades. Then let the Norks know that the carrot has been replaced by the stick. Then tell China they hold the mortgage. They can either start making all the payments or we're foreclosing.
