I first came to the Sunshine State as a young Air Force officer, and found a place so beautiful and filled with opportunity I decided to make it my home. When the entrepreneurial spirit took hold, my neighbors and colleagues embraced my new venture without prejudice or discrimination. In the decades since, I have been blessed with a loving family and a community where people are treated with respect.
When Jackson uses language that describes us as an apartheid state and compares our governor to one of historys most notorious bigots, he is either hopelessly out of touch or purposefully dishonest.

...for a man who casts himself as a defender of these rights to disparage Florida and our nation with reckless and unfounded commentary is a disgrace.

Just this summer, I, a black man in Florida, was elected to serve in the Florida House of Representatives just about 180 miles away from the bridge in Selma where racism and hatred were violently acted out. I understand the difference between where America was, where it is today, and where it will go tomorrow.
I knew he had to be a R and he'll be a great addition to the Fl house. I think he'll be heard from, since the Panhandle is conservative.
I do agree with Mr. Hill... Jackson and Sharpton are a disgrace...
Boy, the libeals hates this guy...(look at the comments)
The time is now to put an end to the race husslers—Time for the companies that they “shook down” to come out and tell their antics—Time for the corruption within their ranks to become exposed! let us in the pajahademe use out skills on the net to expose there clowns for all they are worth—from payoffs to sexual excesses. Operation Behind the curtain should start Now!
Good on Mr. Hill! Bad news for him he looks like one of those white-black guys. So you know, he aint “real”.
bahwahahaha. I assume that was rhetorical. :)
Ol’ Jesse and Al make their living off of stirring up the pot of racial strife. If racism ceased to exist, they would resurrect it somewhere else because they would be out of work. It’s what they know, it’s what they do. Truth be told, they really do not want racism to stop. I applaud the author of this thread. I lived in Florida most of my life and had black and Hispanic coworkers, managers and friends. Their race played no part in how we related to each other. We truly can be a color-blind society but it takes ALL of us working to make it happen. People who succeed when we fail have no place in this society.
Not all blacks idolize JJ and AS, although far too many do. A black guy who worked for me said JJ just took advantage of anything that would get his face in the media, that his ‘concern’ was only for himself.
boycott?, good idea, fewer black thugs to deal with., whats the downside?
