Nearly a year out from the Sept. 11 terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, that killed four Americans, CNN’s Jake Tapper unveiled what looks like an enormous puzzle piece that’s been missing from the “phony scandal.” On today’s episode of “The Lead,” sources told CNN that dozens of people working for the CIA — the agency that ran the annex — were in Benghazi that night, and survivors are reportedly undergoing monthly polygraphs to ensure whatever they were doing there remains secret.
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton might have trouble recalling things now and then, but Tapper remembers a question put to her by Sen. Rand Paul during the infamous “what difference does it make” hearing.
There’s little question there’s a massive, ongoing cover-up in progress: the question now is whether it’s motivated more by national security or by politics.......

Tapper is the closest thing to a real journalist in Washington. It will be interesting to see how much out on a limb he’ll go. I am intrigued that he’s talking about this.
I figured one of the reasons he got the cushy prime time spot on CNN was to get him out of the press corp where he might actually do the job of asking real questions of this administration.

Jake Tapper was ABC's top WH correspondent for several years. He, at least initially, was drinking the Obama cool aid all the WH correspondents were slurping up with great relish. However, I began to detect a note of cynicism creeping into Tapper's reporting as time went on ... especially towards the end just before he left ABC to join CNN. It would appear Jake Tapper isn't in the bag for O anymore ... he's becoming much more objective. This is good for those of us that want to get to the bottom of the 9'11/’12 Benghazi attack. Not good for Hildabeast & O.

I think I may know the answer. It has been all over the internet and I now believe it may be right that Hillary and the administration were frustrated with the UN no authorizing a “no fly” zone so the Al Qaeda could stop the pair power of Qaddafi before his fall. The CIA refused to supply them Stinger missises to shoot down his air force— so Hilliary convinced Obama to run the risk. It worked. hundreds of jets and aircraft were shot down and the Al Qaeda killed Qaddafi and took over libya— absolute fact.
As the election loomed there were negotiation with the Al Qaeda w(our enemy) to buy back the unused Stingers .not to send them to Syria but to get them “off the street” ( and away from our domestic air craft— like TWA 800) . The deal was struck. Ambasador Steben (whos office was in Tripoli) was dispatched with millions of dollars and two contractors to meet the Al Qaeda in Benghazi. Things went horribly wrong. We were so stupid we met their demand to be there with the cash on 9/11 ( a clue) . The entire CIA post knew what was going down . After the Al Qaeda killed Stevens and the others and wounded many we don’t know about, they took the cash and kept the stingers.
Panic ensued in Washington. The election and Hilliary’s future was at stake. Desperate the had Susan Rice go on TV and lie!! ( you tube video?) . Now they are desperately threatening the employees that knew the truth. It is going to blow. read the state department response to the CNN question on this

However, their interest in exposing the truth, and their whereabouts, is extremely unlikely since they were undoubtedly complicit with the Sunni scheme.

You are correct. Attkisson, too. I see a lot more of Tapper on a regular basis, or at least used to before he went on CNN (ha ha), so he’s the only one that came to mind.
