The UK Guardian is making good on its promise to release more information provided by Edward Snowden, revealing a Powerpoint presentation marked top secret, used to train NSA analysts in using the vast data gathering resources the agency provides. Glenn Greenwald writes: The files shed light on one of Snowden´s most controversial statements, made in his first video interview published by the Guardian on June 10. "I, sitting at my desk," said Snowden, could "wiretap anyone, from you or your accountant, to a federal judge or even the president, if I had a personal email".

Just maybe...the technology has bypassed common decency and law. We have opened pandora’s box.

Human nature, as in the last few thousand years, but with a new mode. Don’t miss the German film about the STASI, “The Lives of Others.”

Real danger in this stuff.

The Prez averred in the strongest possible terms that it’s only the METADATA, and not the content.

And here we see that it’s the content, also.

How is the President NOT lying..?

I think the government is keeping us safe by spying on us, that is if they were doing it, but they say they aren't doing it and so its the patriotic thing to believe them and support them even if they are,

We couldn't live without them.

See I am on your side if you are monitoring me., I am OK., Not like those anti-government quislings . So don't audit me, Audit them,, America-America...

according to MOOSELIM tradition and LAW..

Muslim scholars teach that Muslims should generally be truthful to each other, unless the purpose of lying is to "smooth over differences."

The Qur'an: Qur'an (16:106) - Establishes that there are circumstances that can "compel" a Muslim to tell a lie.

Barry being the devout MOOSELIM that he is taks this stuff SERIOUSLY

Piss Mohammad Obama

In all honesty, we did that years ago. Today, you and I have more intel gathering ability than all the acronym agencies of the world combined had in the 70s.

Imagine what we don’t know about. Then imagine that very ethically flexible people are in control of it. Then try seeing reality the same way you did yesterday.

Then open a beer.

“How is the President NOT lying..?”

...true, but, at this point, really, how could anyone be surprised by this?

The old joke, “How can you tell when he’s lying? His lips move” is not all that funny any more.

This is somewhat reminiscent of Kenneth Mars in “The Producers” (the original good one) singing “Amerika...für Specious Skies” in a Nazi uniform while looking around warily.

Dick Shawn singing “Love Power” in that movie is IMO the funniest scene ever filmed by Man to this date.

If I ever hear another person say “I have muslim friends” I’m going to ask them “If Islam was the law of the land, do you think you’d be allowed to watch American Idol?”
