It’s official: Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) will face a Tea Party challenger in 2014.
A spokesperson for Republican Nancy Mace, who is already being billed as a Tea Party favorite, confirmed to TheBlaze on Thursday that she plans to challenge Graham for his Senate seat in the 2014 Republican primary. She plans to make a “special announcement” about her run at the Berkeley County GOP Breakfast on Saturday.
The spokesperson said the campaign will be releasing more information and Mace will be doing interviews following the formal announcement.
Mace is the first woman to graduate from The Citadel, a military college in the Palmetto State. She is also a wife, mother and small business owner from Goose Creek, S.C. According to her campaign website, she is the proud daughter of retired Army Brigadier Gen. Emory Mace.

Last Sunday Bob Schieffer on CBS FTN plays a clip of Gramnesty warning the GOP to support amnesty ‘or else’ and then he (Bob) follows it up with ‘And no Republican is more conservative than Senator Graham is’
Lin, like many in the spotlight of the GOP are a carefully crafted lie. And a plethora of stalwart GOP diehards will line up again and defend him by the backhanded method to poo pooing his challengers.
We see it happen on this very thread by those lacking clue 1 as to this woman’s bonifides. Anything to keep the status quo in place while avoiding a good hard look at reality.

Methinks thou needs to do more research to help correct your malfunctioning “I do remember” memory. You’re confusing Nancy Mace with Shannon Faulkner.
Anyhow, I’m supporting any and all conservatives who take on Lindsey Graham in the 2014 primary—at least as long as they run campaigns that DO NOT ATTACK the other conservatives in the primary but DO ATTACK Lindsey Graham as he deserves to be attacked. The goal is to keep Little Lindsey from receiving a majority of the vote in the primary, exhaust some of his RINO supplied campaign war chest before he advances to a run-off against the conservative challenger with highest vote. This is the proven strategy employed by Ted Cruz against the RINO favorite David Dewhurst in the Texas primary.
