The state of Hawaii has a brilliant plan to rid itself of homeless tramps while saving millions.
How will they achieve this?
By deporting the homeless back to the continental U.S.
The return to home program is set to launch this fiscal year the state will purchase one-way plane tickets, and eventually even beds on cruise ships, to send homeless people back to their families in other regions of the country, reports MSN News.

“I like the “Return to Home” idea. The US government should implement the same or allow states to do the same with the ILLEGAL hordes. “
Illegals are like strays. They’ll stay as long as you feed and care for them. As for the homeless, they’ll use the tickets for vacations, but they will be back. Many of them are far from penniless. The Sarasota paper hired a privet detective. He found that many had retirement incomes. They just didn’t want to be tied to a house. When the weather was stormy, they got motel rooms.
Wait a minute.. Is the most Commie state in the country admitting their entitlement government isn’t working?
Hawaii hands out gub’mint freebies like candy. A giant wefare state. It’s like feeding the bears. Stop issueing out welfare programs and the beach critters will figure out a way to move on.
Most homeless in Hawaii have family in Hawaii and choose that lifestyle. And the homeless who are from somewhere else have probably learned to like living in the state.
“privet”?? Really?? I am the Spelling Poli ce and you’re under arrest! You’re looking at 20 to life for that one, mister!! :)
It sounds as though Hawaii believes that the GOP might get the food stamp cut they are working on.
Poli ce.... DOH!
They sure made Obama disappear...
They have no valid record of him at all.
Exactly. I’d be worth every penny.
So,,,, if I buy a one way ticket to the Islands, hang out for a month or so, can I then claim to be homeless and get a free ticket home? I could stay a lot longer if I didn’t have to pay for a round trip ticket!
Are they going to take these repatriated homeless off the voting rolls???
The Hawaiian gub’mint freebie bums are hurting Hawaii’s primary industry - tourism. Who knew that those liberal, lefty Kamaainas are really dirty rotten capitalist pigs?
Okay, Hawaii, how would you like it if ALL the mainland big cities started offering their homeless persons FREE PLANE TICKETS TO HAWAII?........One way, of course.........
” Youre looking at 20 to life for that one, mister!! :)”
20-life! Let’s negotiate...in p r i v a t e...
I haven’t seen a
“Show us your papers”
routine about Hawaii yet.
It was all the rage for AZ.
Send them to Detroit - homes cost just one dollar!
Save a lot of money; book them on U.S. bound freighters which sometimes have spare quarters aboard. I’d say have them work their passage, but the crew has a union that would not like that precedent.
“Id be worth every penny.”
You certainly would be.
The price of a return ticket would be very small compared to that of a hotel room for weeks, months or years. You could apply for food stamps, free healthcare, shelter and who knows what else.
Long, long ago when I lived in a beach community near LA, undesirables were given bus tickets to other states. Guess the system got overwhelmed; they’d go broke trying to send them all back to Mexico now.
It would be delightful to be sitting beside one of these people for a 6 to 10 hour flight, wouldn’t it?
If that happened we could all get “free” roundtrip airfare to Hawaii. ;-)
LOL. We call that karma. :-)
It’d be worth every penny. LOL....
