The Libyan Lie: Dozens more CIA operatives were on the ground in Benghazi than previously acknowledged. Were they running guns to Syrian rebels? And why are they and their families now being intimidated?

The only thing "phony" about the Benghazi scandal has been the cacophony of falsehoods and obfuscation pouring out of the Obama administration about the night four Americans, including the personal representative of President Obama, Ambassador Christopher Stevens, were killed.

Up to 35 CIA operatives were working in Benghazi the night of the terrorist attack, dozens more than previously reported, raising questions anew of why they were really there, what they were really doing and why the administration has tried so hard to fudge the facts and hide the truth.

One big unanswered question is why there was a CIA annex near to what was supposed to be a fledgling diplomatic outpost in Benghazi — a soon-to-be, we were told, diplomatic mission envisioned as the first fruits of the now-mythical "Arab Spring."

We may have the hint of an answer in revelations by Jake Tapper of CNN that dozens of previously undisclosed people working for the CIA were there that night, and that the agency is now going to great lengths to make sure whatever it was doing remains a secret.

Ah, I believe you are CORRECT. Muslims killing each other for 1,400 years and they still can't agree on who the successor to Mohamed was — all while not killing Infidels. Islam is a death cult that's combined the Koran with “Mein Kampf”. Not a good combination.

Amazing how much was posted on FR months ago about the number of the CIA spooks with boots on ground in Benghazi, and that they apparently had two missions:

1. Supplying the Islamos in ? Islam countries with the weapons from Crazy Kadafi’s warehouses, and not just AK 47’s.

2. Besides that mission, there apparently was a prison that would have made Gitmo look like a London High Tea in comparison. This prison was used to gather info from Islamos who raised flags of concern. Remember Obozo/Holder et al’s hate Gitmo as part of their campaign and anti Bush rhetoric.

Forget about the so called plot to kidnap Stephens and trade him for the blind Islamo. That is another cover story like the Muslim anger against the so called video. Their real missions were #1 and #2 above.

Now, as we are learning the number of spooks with boots on ground in Benghazi. We will be learning about their support personnel. There would have been a probable ratio of ten to one in other support personnel in North Africa and other areas to ship the weapons and other monitoring/control mission control sites including Langley. That makes a whole lot of folks being monitored after signing non disclosure agreements to never talk about our real mission in Benghazi.

In eight months since an attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi left four Americans dead, a Republican-led investigation has focused on potential missteps by the White House — and come away with nothing significant.

There has been little attention given, however, to covert actions by the Central Intelligence Agency that were partially uncovered during the September 11, 2012 attack.

That may be changing.

CNN’s Jake Tapper argued this week that we should give more scrutiny to the CIA’s presence in the Libyan port city.

Congressman Frank Wolf (R-Va.) said the same, according to CNN: “There are questions that must be asked of the CIA and this must be done in a public way.”

The “Limbaugh Theorem” is that Obama is not responsible for anything that happens in his own administration. In that quote it looks like it’s all the CIA’s fault, or at least that’s how it’s being set up.

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) is accusing the Obama administration of a massive cover-up in the deadly Benghazi, Libya, terrorist attack, saying it was “dispersing” witnesses around the country and changing their names in an effort to hide the truth about what happened.

In an interview Thursday with Fox News host Greta Van Susteren, Gowdy said the administration is “changing names, creating aliases” of U.S. agents who were in Benghazi on the night of the Sept. 11, 2012, attacks.
